Tired of the standard American Pale Ale? Not feeling the hop bite and higher ABV of an IPA? We have something in-between. What you get is a hop-centric but easy drinking beer with tons of citrus and floral hop character brought on by Centennial, Cascade, Columbus and Chinook hops and backed with a solid malt bill.

Note: A NoDable from 2012 revived for a limited run in December 2015.

On tap at Vintner. Pours out an orangish yellow color with a white head. Smell is pretty hoppy for a pale with a nice malt profile to match. Taste smooth and hoppy; reminds me of a SNPA clone almost. Pretty good, easy to session..

On tap at new NoDa location. Pours a copper color with white head. Herbal, spicy hop, green hop aromas. Green hop, herbal, floral flavors. Solid herbal, floral hop pale ale. Nothing mind blowing, but a good drinking beer.

Draught at revolution pizza. Another weird one. Dark yellow almost brown with good lace after a quick head. A candy floral hop bouquet with something that reminds me of my grandma’s beauty products. Toasty grain aromas crap in late and further from the glass. Sweet citrus and bitter grapefruit dominate. The body is thin though mouthwatering. A pale really? In body and booze yes but I could be fooled if you said ipa.
