The evolution of American Pale Ale—still a session beer but it sacrifices nothing—clear hop flavor shines through without being too dominant, and there’s a great malt flavor uncommon to the variety. The backbone of this beer is the balance of imported Maris Otter and Caramunich malts with the pine and citrus flavors of Centennial, Simcoe, and Citra hops.

Can at Muckfest 2016. Clear gold pour with a thin white head. Aroma of malt, along with piney and earthy hops. Malty flavor with piney hop zing before a bitter, grassy hop finish.

6 weeks old out of can at CowFish, average pale ale. Aroma a little lacking- faint citrus, grass, and malt. Taste follows the nose exactly. Medium mouthfeel. A pretty malt forward PA with grassy hops in the back. Definitely drinkable but but much going on with this one. WBA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tasted from can. Pours a slightly hazy orange amber with off white head. Aroma is caramel with citrus and tropical fruit. Taste is moderately bitter citrus and pine hops and a caramel malt backbone. Pretty solid pale ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Slight haze, light earthy hop nose with caramelly-biscuity hops. Ok, basically a slightly hoppy amber with a juicy hop finish. But nothing too bright.

Sampled at GABF 2015. In the tasting glass was a hazy gold. White foam cap. Nose of tropical fruit and citrus. Medium body. Flavor is the fruit and citrus and mirrors the aroma. Finish is lightly bitter. Good tasting and easys drinking. Nice.

Can pour hazy dark gold with thin white head. Pine, resin, some tropical fruit hop. Taste orange and citrus, then reasonable bitter through the finish. Not much flavor mid palate. Not off putting but nothing remarkable

Can into glass at Charlotte airport. Dark for a pale. Arron floral hop aroma or pine and citrus. Flavor has distinct hop on the front but not like a crazy IPA. Taste similar to aroma. More malt on the finish. Not my style of beer but not a huge selection here either and Bette than the bud or coors options.... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
