COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A solid malt backbone with a hefty amount of rye to further the grain bill, NoDaRyeZ’d has a 7-hop blend that accentuates the spiciness of the rye and gives the beer an American IPA flavor, aroma and substantial bitterness.

Draft at Vintner. Dark red colored pour with a tan head on it. Smell is spicy and full of rye and hop notes. Taste pretty bitter, thick, hoppy, spicy, little bit of citrus from the overload of hops. Pretty good, alcohol isnt noticeable. Not really a bad beer, but I think one is enough.

16 oz can shared with DCLawyer, poured into a tulip. Courtesy of a friend, thanks Ben. Canned 10/17/2016, held onto this a bit too long. Mostly clear golden orange with off-white head. Aromas of malt, candied orange, rye and spice. Tastes of malt, candied citrus, floral notes, caramel, honey, spice. Medium body with a dry finish.

On tap @ NoDa with jcnielsen. Pours a hazy dark golden orange appearance with an off white head. Rye, gummy sweet caramel malt in the aroma. A touch of fruits. Fairly high sweetness and bitterness. Spicy rye and candy flavor with some tropical fruits thrown in. Strong. Disappointing.

Served in a Tulip at the brewery’s taproom. Pours a copper color with thin off-white head. Lots of lacing. Aroma yields pine, sawdust, grass. Taste is peppery rye upfront. Slight honey on the back end. The higher ABV isn’t overly hidden.

emacgee (4674) - Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA - MAY 5, 2013
Soft hazy amber with two fingers of creamy beige head. Not much nose, some citrus zest. Sharp/phenolic flavor, zesty. Light sweetness, becomes malty. Very full palate, coating and moderately bitter.

maxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - APR 18, 2013
Draught. Pours a slightly hazy dark amber color with effectively no head. Nose is floral and hoppy with just a hint of the rye coming through at the end. Taste is slightly bitter, but ends up being smooth and easy to drink. Pretty good beer.

Tap at Mexican joint. I enjoyed this offering from a local brewer. Decent amount of hops with a kick.
