Draft to a tulip glass served @ their restaurant. Poured a copper / amber with sparse head, and great lacing. Malty backbone with plenty of bitter hop notes of citrus coming through. Good.
UPDATED: AUG 6, 2013 A nice reddish copper ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, caramel malt with light floral and catty hops, OK. In mouth, sweet fruity caramel malt with solvent notes, faint grassy hops, oily mouth feel, a bit of burned character, OK but cloying too. Capa (3494) - Kitsap, Washington, USA - DEC 31, 2012
Copper with a white head. Aroma is pine, citrus, caramel malts. Medium body. Flavor has strong and lasting pine and citrus notes, sweet caramel malts back them up. I guess there isn’t a lot going on, but it’s a nice and tasty beer. tcane7 (1674) - Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 26, 2012
On draft at Nodding Head. Pours deep amber with tan head. Nose full of hops, mostly pine and resin with a little citrus in there as well. Taste is pine, bong water, citrus and sweet caramel malt. bu11zeye (13239) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - APR 10, 2012
(Draught) Pours a orange body with a medium white head. Aroma of grass, citrus, pine, and caramel. Flavor of orange gelatin, caramel, toffee, light pine, and grapefruit with a bitter finish.

In short: A basic caramelized, piney and fruity Double IPA. A brewpub beer that doesn’t taste fresh Beerman6686 (6611) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 16, 2011
How: Tap at brewpub
The look: Clear dark golden body topped by a small beige head
In long: Medium intensity piney hops nose. Body is a bit sticky, oily sticky caramel, a mix bag of fresh fruits. Nourishing body. Somehow in mouth the hops were a lot more fruity and less piney than in the aroma. Bitterness of medium intensity. Some notes of dank wet basement lowers my score. Another meh beer from Nodding Head, this brewer is a perfectionist when it comes to brewing flawed beers
This poured a darker yellow to almost orange color with a white head. Aroma was almost all just pine an citrus hops, but they dont really stick out in your face, they’re just the only thing there. The taste is much the same as the aroma, watery hop water, citrus and pine with light pale malt. Eh. blipp (9783) - La Mesa, California, USA - JUN 10, 2011
Draft. Pours amber with an off white head. Fruity hoppy and piney aroma with some light sweetness. The flavor has piney and fruity hops, with medium bitterness, and some light sweet caramel malts. Good stuff. TURDFERGUSON (4068) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - JUN 7, 2011
Tap at the brewery. Big copper amber with small white head. Nose of pine, citrus, malty sweetness. Flavor is sugary sweet and slightly astringent. Meh.
