On tap at The Nodding Head. Pours a clear light caramel with a medium sized beige head. Faint caramel, a touch of toast, Little grainy, but quite light and crisp. Finishes with a bit more grain, a touch of caramel, and a bit of toast. ROGUE (2216) - Lewes, Delaware, USA - FEB 15, 2010
On tap at brewery. Pours a deep clear amber with a small white head. Aroma of sweet malt and some light spice. Taste is slightly malty sweet with hint of caramel, finished by a slight hop bitterness. Not very complex but well made. BillKismet (4165) - Seattle, Washington, USA - DEC 1, 2009
A nice looking beer, but it falls off after that. Full-amber bodied with creamy head. Fairly hoppy aroma for Scottish-inspired brews. Mildewy body lackluster malt and fruitiness. MaltDawg (1344) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - SEP 18, 2009
Tap at the brewery. 4.75% ABV Very light malty graininess in the aroma. Clear amber brown with small white head. Light grain and smoke in the flavor. Very clean with light roastiness in the finish. Very sessionable. decaturstevo (6343) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - AUG 5, 2009
Deep amber pour with off white head and lace. Light roasted malt aroma mixed with a molasses. Rich sweet caramel malt, a hint of peat, and a very light bitter. Nice smooth carbonation with a medium/full body.

Tap at Nodding Head. Pours copper with a bright white ring. Nose is light and malty. Taste is sweet, malty with some toffee, decent. PilsnerPeter (3049) - Flushing, New York, USA - MAR 24, 2009
Cask at 3rd Manhattan Cask Fest: Copper pour with a fading head. Aroma has lots of corn character and a light caramel sweetness- it’s almost reminiscent of Cracker Jacks or peanut brittle. Light bottle- just just a touch of toasted character at the fore-flavor. Lightly sweet background of, again, peanut brittle and corn, like Cracker Jacks. The finish is extremely vacant. Not really on target with the style, and fairly vacant overall. Eh. puzzl (3264) - New York, New York, USA - MAR 23, 2009
Tap at the brewpub. Fizzy, toasty, uncooked corn aroma; muddy. Thinnish body with no finish. Mild bread/toast, whole grain, but very thin. Not much going on at all. JoeMcPhee (10129) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 18, 2009
Copper coloured ale with a thin sticky white head. Aroma is lightly malty with loads of crackery fresh malts. Nice orange marmalade and earthy hoppiness on the top, but it definitely leans toward the malty side of things. Flavour has good balance with a lovely soft palate. Fairly fruity aroma with a touch of berryish esters. Low bitterness. Pretty solid. jmm635 (1017) - Havertown, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 8, 2009
Poured dark amber with a reddish hue. Fading head. Malty aroma and taste, little bitterness in the finish. Unnoticeable scotch flavors for a scotch ale. Pretty boring.
