On draft at NH. Nicely bitter and hoppy. Smooth on the palate, with a green, almost winey tang in the nose. Very good pale ale.

Tap at the brewery. Pour is copper, clear with little white head. Nose is floral and citrus hops with bready malt. nice hoppy aroma floral and citrusy hops earthy with some sweet malt. Taste is caramel and bready sweetness nicely balanced with a grapefruit and light resinous bitter hop note. Lightly bitter, dry finish.

Old rate. Sampled at the brewpub in Philly. Pours a solid gold with nice sized soapy off white head. Aroma is grapefruit hop, some malt. Taste is similar but with the malt back more present than the hops. A decent but not mind blowing APA.

On tap, at brewery. Pours a clear copper body with a small white head that left lots of nice lacing. Big hoppy nose, with just a touch of maltiness backing it up. The flavor is a little light on the hops with minimal bitterness, a little crystal malt sweetness on the back end that pretty well ruins the beer for me. Light bodied, a touch thin, with moderate fizzy carbonation. OK for the beer that they advertise on the menu as their "bill payer".

On tap at the brewpub with jredmond, streets, and Brendan. Good for the style but on the lighter side overall. Sweet malts, yeast, Belgian spices.
