Rusty orage. Stock APA aroma - pine, citrus, caramel. Tangy, medium sweet, toasty. Good balance, not too hoppy. Some brininess. Character without offense. Good. kkearn (1165) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 14, 2007
Draft at the brewpub. Clear amber, with a thick white head. strong grapefruit hop aroma. strong malt aroma supports the big, mouth-coating hops. Hops linger on the palate for a while, but at no point do they overwhelm. nicely balanced and drinkable. NJBeerman013 (1054) - Hamilton Twp., New Jersey, USA - MAY 13, 2007
Draft at the brewpub. Pours a burnt amber in color with a fluffy white head. Aroma is oof citrus/tropical fruits. The flavor is full of fruit and citrus with a nice sweet bite. Ther is plenty of malt to balance the overall flavor. Really enjooyable. shrubber85 (11508) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - MAY 5, 2007

Golden color with nice sized soapy head. Grapefruit hop aroma and taste, with some pretty good malt flavors mixed in. For some reason this didn’t really hit the spot and seemed a bit off, but overall its a decent-good APA. jcwattsrugger (12506) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - NOV 25, 2006
on tap-pours an off white head that laces and gold color. Aroma is citrus hops-grapefruit. Taste is citrus hops-grapefruit, bitter, secondary medium malt. Mild carbonation. scoobyluv (511) - Asheville, North Carolina, USA - OCT 12, 2006
color typical for the style. this smelled really good though. nice floral bouquet. it had a nice, smooth, hoppy flavor. it wasn’t overpowering but was very soothing. i can drink this all day long illinismitty (2271) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - SEP 30, 2006
Pours amber with a nice creamy off white head. Aroma of toffee, fruity hops, and salt. Very british like maltiness of caramel and toffee. Soft carbonation. Medium bitter finish that is very leafy, with a tad amount of soapiness. Not bad. mwoolley (5) - Washington DC, USA - SEP 7, 2006 does not count
Dark amber-oak appearance with a slim head. Enticing fresh hop aroma, balanced with a hint of roasted malt. The taste does not disappoint, with an excellent balance of medium malt followed by the crisply-proportioned hop finish that lingers enjoyable in the top of your mouth. This is the best Nodding Head beer I tried and the only one I would order again.
