Cask and draft. Pours a light brown color. Aroma of slight chocolate and faint nuts. Flavor of chocolate, nuts, caramel (some sourness too), dry earthiness. The flavor is a bit underdone, mouthfeel light and dry. Meh. tcane7 (1674) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 7, 2013
Cask at Nodding Head. Pours deep brown with fluffy tan head and some lacing. Nose of nuts, sweet dark malts, chocolate, bread and some roasted notes. Very creamy mouthfeel. Smooth and creamy. Great session brown ale. theisti (4237) - Kansas, USA - FEB 20, 2013
Shaker cask pour at the brewpub in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The pour is deeply hazed brown, with not too much of a khaki head. The aroma is sweet malt, malted chocolate, and touch of bitter sweetness. The taste is real chocolate, semi sweet chocolate chips, along with caramel malt and a fruity yeastiness. The palate is light to medium bodied, silky cask mouth feel, naturally low carbonation, and a sweet finish. Nice enough. Capa (3628) - DC, Washington DC, USA - DEC 31, 2012
Brown with a medium head. Aroma is malty, toasted, chocolate, lightly nutty. Medium bodied. Flavor is lightly sweet toasted malts, chocolate, nutty, caramel. Really well done, easy going, tasty, brown ale. Can do three or four of these in a row.

On draft @ their brew-pub. Poured a dark brown, prett much opaque & sparse head. Their list says hints of chocolate & malt, and that’s exactly what I got from it. Smooth & drinkable. drfabulous (8818) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - MAY 25, 2012

On tap at brewpub. Pours like a stout - dark brown body with medium off-white tan head. Aroma of chocolate, malt, and candied sugar. Flavor was not as complex as I’d like, but was a solid brown. Caramel finish.
