From notes: draught at the brewpub. Poured pale amber, with a small white head. Light, citrusy aroma, with a touch of ginger mixed in. Body is light and smooth, slightly fizzy. Nice lemony taste, with a light grassy note. A pleasing bite from the ginger shows in the finish. One of the best names for a beer you’ll ever find... bu11zeye (13140) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - JAN 7, 2012
(Draught) Pours a clear yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of lemon, grain, ginger, soap, and grass. Flavor of grain, lemon, bread, orange, and ginger with a dry, bitter finish. italarican (1549) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 29, 2011
On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear gold with standard white head. Aroma has loads of ginger and is spicy but also a bit soapy. Tastes like those ginger chew candies. Spicy ginger finish with a light body. Prickly carbonation. The ginger can get overwhelming, but there’s some non-US chewable ginger candy that this tastes exactly like. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - JUN 23, 2011
Draft, RBSG Saturday crawl. Crystal clear body, small white head. Aroma is medium sweet, ginger, some lemon, dish soap. Taste is moderately sweet, orange, bread, light ginger. Light-medium body. yespr (47067) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - JUN 7, 2011

On tap, at brewery. Pours a clear pale yellow with a minimal white head. Nice light spice on the nose with a little lemongrass, but a fairly prominant and distinct ginger note. Light and airy flavor with gentle spicing, very easy drinking. Lingering lemongrass and and prickly ginger finish. Light bodied with nice fizzy carbonation, rather champagne like. I thought this was pretty nice for such a light beer. Pwn3d (1962) - Manhattan, New York, USA - JUL 31, 2010
On tap at the brewpub with jredmond, streets, and Brendan. Tons of Ginger tang. I bet this would be great with sushi. Hawksfan17 (890) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - JUL 19, 2010
Lemon and ginger nose. Pours yellow with a small head. Sweet with a little spice from the ginger. A little carbonated but otherwise a great refresher! auerbrau (3203) - Ithaca, New York, USA - JUN 2, 2010
On tap at the brewpub. Interesting creamy, spicy and exotic aroma, soft. Pours a vibrantly clear pale golden with minimal head. This beer is warm. I’ve been served a warm spiced lager. Odd. Flavors are restrained and delicious. The combination of lemongrass and ginger over a relatively plain, yet still a touch creamy, malt base makes for a satisfying, punchy, and thirst-quenching brew. One of the better flavored lagers. Leafs93 (2332) - Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 7, 2010
Had on tap at Nodding Head. Pours a very light straw color, minimal white head with no noticable lacing. Aroma is of lemongrass and ginger, tastes like it smells. Has a health tonic taste to it, as it is very light. Good but nothing I would order over and over.
