Deep red brown beer with a small beige head. Complex sweet / herbal aroma. Licour like. Sweet malty and parfumed flavor. Very difficult to describe but not pleasant at all. I’m not even going to finish this beer. berlinoise2go (689) - NORWAY - DEC 13, 2009
Bottle, 33cl, from Vinmonopolet, Oslo. BBE 2012. Label says 9% ABV, so this is maybe a different version of this beer. Beige, eager head, quickly diminishing. Deep clear maroon colour. Aroma of yeast, honey, caramel, brandy. The alcohol is very well hidden, manifesting itself as a warm, velvety mouthfeel, which is also pleasantly fizzy. Sweet, lasting taste of honey/caramel and some fruityness, nicely balanced. Almost no bitterness. Very good. gunnar (9094) - Sandnes, NORWAY - DEC 3, 2009

Mid amber brown colour with a thin off white head. Very fruity and malty. Good alcohol notes but that’s about it really. Faint fruity spicy finish with some late sourness. Blah.
From Beer Mania, Brussels, Belgium.
Light brown with white head. Aroma of yeast and dryness. Flavor is malt with dried fruit and notes of spices. Buckweed. High carbonation

huge yeast aroma. Cloudy brown with a huge head. Starts very well, but is a bit watery and bland. Ok to sample, but nothing I would buy. Thanks to my friend Simon for bringing this from Norway Ethereal (2421) - Los Angeles, California, USA - JAN 1, 2009
