Bottle. Hazy medium gold, massive off white head. Thick lace. Aroma is tangy and citrusy. Lovely dry yeasty biscuity profile married to bright hops delivering flavours of limes, gooseberries, pineapple. Quite complex. Finishes with a light tartness. Delicious!

Pale golden pour with a white head. Nice citrus and melon hop aroma. Some light tropical fruit, grass, and crisp, dry malt. Nice floral qualities, yeast, mild spice, and lemon zest. Flavor of pepper, lemon zest, and grapefruit. Great melon, crisp, and a light herbal bitterness. Tropical fruit, yeast, floral hops, and cracker.

500ml bottle from IPB.
Appearance : Pale yellow with a big foamy white head. Some lacing.
Aroma : Crisp citrusy hops with light malt and light yeast. Some spices.
Taste : Yeasty with citrusy hops. Finish yeasty with light piny notes and spices. Rather dry and bitter.
Palate : Lively carbonation, maybe a bit too aggressive.
Overall : Quite sharp and aromatic. A bit too astringent on the finish. Yeast is present but the typical saison esters are hard to find. Refreshing and well made but a bit too dry. Light warmth on the finish. Good but not great.

Super hazy blonde coloured body with a large, soapy, frothy pale white head about six centimetres tall. Aroma of yeast, coriander seed, wheat, lemons, hay, grass, fresh hops and a bit of funk - very nice and pungent. Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy and herbal notes up front with a bunch of grassy hops, some lighter wheat flavours and a good dose of herbs like chervil, tarragon and coriander seed of course. Aftertaste very grassy and herbal, but in a good way that shows some nice characteristics and also a hint of hops. Overall, a very nice combination of styles with a lot of pleasant notes and of course a lot of grassiness. I sampled this 50 cL bottle purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 12-December-2012 for US$8.59 sampled at home in Washington on 06-March-2013.

500mL bottle. Poured clear, brighter golden with a short cap of white head. The aroma picked up dank citrus and piney bitterness plus interesting floral character over bready and pale malts.. aggressively-hopped, but I think that was part of the goal. The flavor found bitter pine and floral hoppage over pale and lesser fruity malts.. more pine plus white pepper, cloves, and floral notes on the long, bitter finish. Medium-bodied and bitter as mentioned on the palate.. overall a tasty brew.

Pours deep and hazy orange, with a bubbly and thick white head. Lots of sediments are carried over even with careful pouring. Aroma of yeast and citrus. Mouthfeel is medium. Flavour of bread and spices. Very drinkable saison.

Gigantic white head towers above the murky, dirty looking golden; looking darker than it really is as heavily sedimented as it is. Relatively fresh smelling in terms of bright pale malts with no apparent residual sugars, but the hops they bragged about on the label are not all that forward. Certainly, tropical hints, lemon and flowery allusions peak through, but they are far from explosive. Rather, the yeast steals most of the show with its peppery and white dough central flavors. Fitting biting carbonation consisting mostly of large bubbles. Dry on the palate with crackery malts and soft sourdouh acidity. Not as elegant as I was hoping, its ending bitterness feels a bit harsh considering the not so massive hop aromas and lean texture. It makes drinkability a bit lesser. Nevertheless, this remains a far above average beverage, just one that is less than the sum of Nogne O’s IPA and Saison would lead you to expect.
