Bottled. Hazy gold. Lovely tropical fruit punch aroma, similar to Thornbridge Kipling. Peaches, pineapple, quinine bitterness, some funky saison overtones. Bitter finish that cleans the palate. Lovely refreshing beer - an instant favourite.

Tap @ Borefts Beer Festival. Unclear orange with a nice white head. Aroma is very hoppy and tropical, pineapple, a hint of saison yeast, orange zest. Taste has lots of pungent hops, citrus and lime at the front, high bitterness. I don’t think I would’ve thought this to be a saison, had I not known. For me, only the nose showcased a bit of the saison yeast, and the taste was mostly hoppy and fruity. Very tasty, though.

Pale, almost cloudy, straw. Large white head with some lacing behind. Huge hop aroma. Citrus and pine. Bitter mouth with a sweet resiny taste. Very good, dry and sweet finish. Not too shabby. Way better than anticipated.

(bottle) pours hazy dark amber with a creamy, off-white head. Aroma is fruity and spicy up front with tones of white paint, clove, white pepper, vanilla, coriander, passion fruit, pineapple, citrus/orange/lemon/lime and light apple/pear. Undertones of dust, concrete, crackers, herbs and white bread. Really yummy, cross-kitchen nose. The flavour is dry, medium bitter and light acidic. Spicy, fruity, citric, bready, cracker-like and grassy/herbal. The mouthfeel is clean and crisp, yet soft with a light to medium carbonation. Bitter citric, spicy and dusty finish. Near medium bodied.

On tap at Borefts 2011. Cloudy gold orange lasting cream head. It is quite tropical hoppy. Yes some yeast. But the hops are excellent. Good dryness. Not bad but a bit empty in the middle
