India Saison is the hoppy, crisp and refreshing result of a north south collaboration. Classic Belgian malts and yeast, pungent Australian new hop varieties and clean Norwegian water. Served chilled and enjoy with cheeses and charcuterie. This product is bottle conditioned and has a slight sediment at the bottom of the bottle.

(50 cl bottle from Den Nordiske Ølhandel; Batch #755; BBD; January 25th 2017) Pours a slightly hazy amber, with frothy, white head and lively carbonation. Beautiful lacework, good retention and decent regeneration. Aroma is fresh and vinous with notes of saison yeast and some tropical fruits. Oily texture, medium body with a moderately bitter and astringent finish. Flavour follows the nose but has more herbal hoppy bitterness. An exciting and pleasant beer although I would prefer it with a little less ABV and hop bitterness and ever so slightly more aromatic hops. I guess the aroma would be more hop forward had I gotten it fresher. This one was brewed 12 months ago already.

Copenhagen 13/2 2017. 50 cl bottle from Meny. White label with the characteristic green "Ø" and the information that this is in collaboration with Australian brewery Bridge Road. Pours hazy golden yellow with big white head. Settles ad 1,5 cm thick layer of foam. Moderate lacing. Aroma has subtle fruity sweetness which is dominated by distinct tart sourness. Grape fruit and lemon. A little sharp and overpowering the note of alcohol lurking in the background. Medium carbonation and slightly thick palate. flavor is lightly sweet followed by heavy sourness. Aftertaste is bitter and slightly boozy with dry finish. Not for the faint of heart. But it suits my sour tooth very well.

To piwo wygląda nieziemsko pięknie.

.5 L bottle poured, and split. Thanks to Matt for sharing this. India Saison. A new style is born every time I open a new beer, I swear. I love it. Pours a cloudy orange with a lingering fizz head. Surprisingly inviting aroma of dusty grains, soft fruit and belgian yeast. Flavor is a belgian heavy profile, with a battling hop content, and a dry finish. I’m not really sure why I like this. It doesn’t really match my usual qualities. India Belgian Saison. Solid IBS here.

Bottle in Seattle. Nice white cap, hazy nice pale gold. Pale hop, banana yeast, pretty nice. Great clean sip, hoppy juice with smooth, anonymous saison character. But it tastes nice. Banana, some grassiness, dry and somewhat bitter finish. Works nicely.

Aroma- tangy wheat, belgian yeast, flowers, tangerine Appearance- Very hazy orange, thin white head that retains well. Thick, sticky lacing. Taste- Belgian yeast, floral, orange, lemon, wheat, grain. Palate- Medium to heavy body, dry, fruity and a light bitterness in the finish. Overall- Great mashup of two popular styles. With hallmarks of both that are well balanced. Recommend.

UPDATED: JUL 24, 2016 Bottle from Total Wine.

Murky yellow pour, shape-holding eggwhite head. Extremely spicy, pungent aroma. A beer with a ton of character. Full and thick mouthfeel. Massive, massive flavors. Powerful spicy esters overwhelm even the strong new-school Aussie hops. Maybe not my favorite type of saison, but so far from ordinary that I can’t help but enjoy. A lot.
