Inbreak (6412) - Loddefjord, NORWAY - MAR 9, 2016

Small creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is mild oxidized and slightly sour-ish spiced, grass, caramel malts, spices, alcohol, body lotion, weeds. Taste is slightly dry spiced, weeds, grass, spices, caramel malts, minerals, burnt caramel, alcohol, paper. Medium bitterness, slightly dry mouthfeel. Nice.
Pours a very dark brown with a very low tan head. Aromas of caramel, figs, dates, roasted nuts, roasted malts, oak chips, vanilla, butterscotch. Taste is complex and deep with balanced sweetness and spices. Mouthfeel is light to medium body with low carbonation. Kingi (670) - - JUN 19, 2015
Brewed 030810. Aroma is somemalts and spices. Dark beer light head. Taste still has light hop bitterness after 5 years. Very balanced compared to the one i had at 2yrs old. Spices hops and malts have blended very well. Finish is lacking Nische (2436) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAY 30, 2015
Vintage 2008. Very dark reddish/brown pour, tan head. Aroma of a bunch of spices and sweet malt. A slightly thick mouthfeel is followed by caramel and spicy flavor. Maybe a bit mellow from the ageing.

Bottle thanks to respertFTW. Dark garnet with lots of sediment. All the worst aromas of a gingerbread cookie. More balanced than the smell would indicate. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 30, 2014
12oz bottle, purchased from Woodstock Wine & Cheese in Michigan for $5. Probably 5 years old, but I’ve never had this particular Stone before, and probably won’t ever have a chance. No date found on the bottle. Dark vinous fruity wet papery flavor. Tastes clearly oxidized to me (my friends [who are casually into beer] don’t recognize that though). Dark fruit and wet recycled paper dominates the flavor, and then some spices and sage. Maybe some juniper, but it’s mostly just a general dark fruit flavor. Dark red brown color. Thin off-white head, leaves some loose lace. Bigger body. Kind of slick. Lighter carbonation. Drying finish. Moderate sweet taste. Kind of tangy and spicy. Very light bitterness. Went for this because I’m a ticker and it’s my last opportunity to try it. But it tastes just like a dark fruity oxidized mess, with a touch of minty piney spice.. Not worth it for the beer alone, and it makes me question my ticking habit, really. Nuffield (4189) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - MAR 15, 2014
Not the winner in a head to head with a variety of beers. From the second release of this beer. I could really pick out the juniper, with a little pine there, and the spices are there, too, but it is somewhat muted. I’m not sure if that’s due to aging...will spices perform similar to hops when aged? Bottle. DedicatedToFun (4000) - Santa Monica, California, USA - JAN 29, 2014

From a 12 oz bottle courtesy of Andrew. Vintage 2008. Pours an opaque dark brown with a tan head. Hoppy nose (despite the age). Flavors of chocolate, spices and some dark cherry. Mellowed by age. Very tasty.
