This beer is brewed with 100% Scottish peat smoked whisky malt. This malt generates an intense smokey flavor and aroma. In fact its intensity makes this beer almost undrinkable, unless you blend it with other ingredients. We recommend to use this product to give a balanced smoked note to foods and drinks as oysters, sauces, marinades, sausages, fatty fish, chocolate and dark beer. Improve your world by giving it a hint of smoke.

Thanks to erzengel for sharing!! Pours a deep yellow with an off-white head. The smell is smoke, chloraseptic, toasted malt. The taste is caramel, smoke, sweet fruit, chloraseptic and a dry ending.

Bottle at Cara B. Brown colour with off white head. Intense peated aroma. Peated, malt, bacon, slightly sweet taste. Medium body. Interesting.

Aroma is sweet malts, honey, wet oak, cask and straw. Taste is sweet malts with a Constant malt body. Appearance is a cloudy orange with sediment. Head retains fairly well.

Great prayed nose like an intense Scottish whiskey. Nice floral fruity beginning. Nice smokey body with sweetish grainy malt. Not too sweetish, quite easy to drink. Peated-bitter aftertaste with hints of smokey sweetness. Not too bad! I like it - even great sessionable!

UPDATED: JUL 12, 2015 Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. A hazy amber beer that pours with a white foamy head. It has a very strong peat, smoked beechwood and iodine flavour followed by a spiced earthy, chemical and smooth almond finish. Far too high an ABV for the flavour.

Bottle 25cl. Orange to pale amber, hazy color. Aroma is intensive smoked, bacon, peat, wood fire, coal. Flavor is malty, sweet, also very intensive smoked with wood fire, heavy smoked bacon, whiskey, hints of fruits, roasty smoked bitter finish. Very good and for sure easy drinkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Brygget: 25/10/12. Bäst før: 25/10/14. Batch nr.: 879.

Not sure what points to give to this beer. Peat all over. Smoked peat in it’s purest beer form. It had to be well brewed to get it out. After that the beer is moderately sweet. The peat pulls out the flavors of smoke, alcohol, esters. Very interesting. Before I finish the bottle I’m gonna blend it with something. Not sure with what yet.

Bottle. Dark amber body with offwhite head. Aroma is smoked with hints of malts. Taste is also smoke. Aftertaste is also malty smoke. As this is not recommended to be drunken pur it drinks really nice, if you like smoke. Nice.

An slightly orange colour, a head is blond and medium. Aroma has huge amount of peat, some smoke, also smoothning sweetness. Taste has more balanced peat than in the aroma, but still strong peat, nice sweetness, some fruitness and smoke. Taste is surpringly balanced that couldn’t be expected after the aroma. Medium bodied, not at all almost undrinkable as the bottle claims. Intensive peat but still great balance. I have to like this beer. Brewed 25/10/12, BBE 25/10/14, "too old" but that’s not bothering.
