3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
25cl bottle from Vinmonopolet. Batch 1000. Brewed 2013-07-18. Best before 2017-07-18. It poured an orange colour with a rather small white head. Lots of carbonation. Aroma is very herbal. Lots of spices, with hints of fruit and caramel. Flavour is well balanced. Malty with spicy notes. Some bitter hops. Herbs. Some toffee perhaps. I don’t know, I was a bit disappointed this was Nøgne Ø’s batch # 1000 to be honest, or maybe I just should’ve tried it much sooner and storing it for 3 years didn’t do it any wonders.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Aroma was very Belgium like in the beginning , later it reminder me of Underlig Jul, spicy with cloves, saffron & cumin.
Medium bodied, very easy to drink beer 10.0% alcohol nowhere to be seen and had an IBU of 50. The taste also had some spice to it, perfectly balanced between malt, hops and spices.
