Bottle b.b. 10.09.07 rated 17.11.09, courtesy of Beer 2000.Pours amber with an off-white head.Aroma of oxidized malt, citrus and malt.Flavor is sweet oxidized malt, pine and citrus with some bitter notes.Medium body, soft carbonation.A little bit outdated but still a really nice beer. abemorsten (3652) - Mosterøy, NORWAY - MAR 19, 2010
Tanned head on hazy orange golden body. Good Lacing. Hoppy aroma. Some metallic fumes as well. Taste is Bitter, sweet, alcoholic, acidic and hinting at honey. Unfortunately there is also a mold like quality to it, which adding to the watery and flat mouth feel is a turn off. Considering that this beer had a BBD 10.9.2007, it has not taken old age as well as other Nøgne Ø products, but that was most likely never the plan anyway.

0,5l bottle at Cardinal, Stavanger.Batch 198. Poured weak orange with a small white head. Sweet fruity aroma and weak hops.Taste is full of earthy character, think this bottle was over the top, flat and uninteresting, ends quick. KimJohansen (10511) - Frederiksberg C, DENMARK - DEC 21, 2008
Cloudy amber with tmedium off white head. Sweet aroma with plenty of hops. Sweet flavour with loads of hops, caramel and pine notes. espenra (1017) - Kurland, NORWAY - AUG 3, 2008
50cl bottle from Barley Wine.Batch 198. It poured an orange colour with a small white head. It has a sweet fruity aroma that smells of hops, oranges and apricots. It has a spicy and bitter-sweet flavour that tastes of malts, oranges and a hint of lemon. It has a lingering bitter-sweet aftertaste. Although the best-before date has expired it both smells and tastes suprisingly good.

(Bottled) Opaque orange-amber with a small head. Aroma of fresh fruit, . Quite strongly hoppy flavor with orangey fruitiness - acidic, dry and very hoppy. Medium body with quite high bitterness. A bold and hoppy brew, but would need to re-sample in a "sterile environment". OleR (4804) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 29, 2008

[tasting notes from 2006]. Hazy orange with a huge head. Nice hoppy aroma of fruits, grass and orange. The flavour is bitter but also more sweet than expected with notes of lemon, grape and caramel. Finn (7916) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JAN 29, 2008
Bottle 0,5 l. Thanks to all involved for the bottle - and Rune for the transport. Pale golden colored. A small creamy head. Extremely hoppy aroma. Extremely bitter but surprisingly well rounded. A lot of sediments.
