ngeaney (97) - SWEDEN - AUG 30, 2015
Reddish brown on colour with a large off-white head with a very appealing aroma of caramel, malt, bread, nuts and chocolate. Some smoky flavours dominate the aroma with the nuttiness being a close second. Roasted malt, chocolate, coffee and nut in the flavour with some smoke and bitterness in the after-taste. Low in carbonation and a light body, the crystal hops just add the needed subtle hops bitterness that is needed to balance out all the sweetness of the malt.

Draught @ Køge beer festival. Appearance: pours slightly cloudy
red-brown with ok beige soapy head and lacing. aroma/taste: caramel, roasted/burnt malt, coffee hints and some pine+floral hints. palette medium roasted malty+ hoppy aroma, average carbonation, medium body, average sweetness, balanced by an average to distinct bitterness, medium duration and an oily texture. PalCabral (162) - SWEDEN - APR 8, 2015
Bottle from Coop, Trysil. Pours dirty brown with faint tints of red. The aroma is not pleasant, vague smells of mensroom. In spite of the aroma, I carry on. The taste is lucklily different and better, roasted malts, bitter notes, chocolate. There’s nor much sweetness though, making it quite a rustic brown ale. The low alcohol pulls down the average even more.

bjakk (828) - Skagafjordur, ICELAND - MAR 22, 2015
Brownish red, clear with nice yellow head. Hint of malty smoke in the aroma. Sweet, burned sugar malt with burned sugar aftertaste. A nice one.
