50cL bottle, courtesy of mgumby10. Thanks, Mike! Pours a hazy, dark brown center; off-white head with good lacing. Pleasant roasted and wet malt aroma; hints of smoke. Medium mouthfeel, showing some tea-like malts and a light roasted quality; dense, chewy malt core; light carbonation; some citrus hops at the edges. One of the more enjoyable brown ales I’ve had. Medium, dry milk chocolate and roasted malt finish. larsniclas (7075) - Billdal, SWEDEN - MAY 19, 2007

This brown ale pours a deep black color from a 500ml bottle. Medium sized tan foamy head. Aroma is nutty, roasty and sweet. A medium bodied Brown Ale. Malts are nutty, caramel, slightly roasty and sweet. Hops are earthy and floral. Very lively carbonation. Nice balance. A very drinkable brown ale, not as sweet as one would expect, though. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is crisp and dry. Very nice. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Low foam and almost gushing out of the bottle. But a good brown ale. Dry, lightly roasted and a rich toffee and caramel. Subdued hops and perfect balance. BDR (2534) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - MAY 1, 2007
Light brown color with slight lacing. Burn coffee nose. Crisp light coffee taste with a hint of nuts. GregClow (3402) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - APR 30, 2007
Bottle from Premier Gourmet in Buffalo. Reddish-brown with a slight haziness and a small tan head. Aroma is malty with notes of sour yeast, wet soil, and a bit of cocoa. Soft body, quite nice. Flavour of sweet roasted malt, caramel, tobacco, coffee and mellow herbal hops to finish. A very nice ale. tarjei (1954) - Bryne, NORWAY - APR 29, 2007
Bottle 0,5 l, batch # 240. Dark brown, hazy. Nice off-white/brown head. Aroma is dark malt and yeast, flavor is chocolate, caramel, hints of bitterness, dry finish. A bit to watery, but still a very good beer. JK (6162) - St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA - APR 28, 2007
A good brown. Light malt aroma, and a surprisingly full flavored roasted grain taste. Just a little nutty. About as good as a brown ale can get. brown color, of course.
