0.5l bottle. Pours a deep cloudy brown body with a red hue and a solid beige, lacing head. Nose is mild with yeast, dried fruits, forest and faint hops. Body is medium, perhaps a bit watery and the carbonation is medium+ Good tastes with notes of coffee beans, dried fruits, orange-zest and some thin chocolate with a slightly mild-sour-hoppy aftertaste. I think this was quite alright and it definitely tasted quite good combined with cheese and crackers. daje (4436) - NORWAY - APR 2, 2011

Appearance : Deep brown with a small creamy head. Light lacing.
Aroma : Butterscotch with roasted malt and caramel. quite malty with light hops. Hops are more earthy and a bit floral. Light belgian yeast too. A little bit nutty. Some fruits.
Taste : Overcooked caramel with light butterscotch. Light bitterness that comes from the light hops as well as the caramelized malts.Notes of toffee. Earthy and a bit mineral. Finish has light notes of belgian yeast with light nutty notes.
Overall : Soft carbonation, nice mouthfeel. Nothing outstanding. a bit too much butterscotch. Quite drinkable. Nose gets a bit better with time. Yeast shines thru a bit more. Nice complexity on nose.
