3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Henrik Ol & Vinstove, Bergen tap: Pours a brown colour with an off-white head. Aroma is fruity and sweet malty. Taste is lightly sweet and heavily fruity. Tis does have a nice body. Some earth. This is good, but it is one of the more forgettable beers from Nogne O.

Bottle, from a trade with Cunningham. Nice amber colored beer with a small beige head. Malty aroma, spicy, ginger, citrus, orange, chocolate, apples. Citrus flavor, roasted, grass, grapefruit notes, chocolate, some barnyard, orange peels, malty, some dark bread. A bit different but in a nice way.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
reddish-brown color. Slightly fruity aroma. Light sweet taste with a short bitter end. Average carbonation. A little watery.
As a Nøgne Ø beer its less full of flavor than other beers from the same brewery, but I like it exactly because of this and move love of brown ales in general

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Stirchley Wines, Birmingham. Pours a dark chestnut Brun. Smell is gentle choc. Flavour us pretty subtle, pretty smooth, with correct mouth thickness. Slightly watery, but a pleasant aftertaste. A little like a Uk cask Porter. Nice, but lacks a little sharpness. Doesn’t taste the strength.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Poffed out of the bottle, almost half of the beer ended on the table and floor. And I didn’t shake it. Dark brown, hazy. Has an off-white head, medium duration. Nice aroma, malty, caramel, soy-sauce. Flavor is starting malty sweet, complex notes, nuts, caramel, real nice. Creamy texture and soft carbonation.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours dark brown with a tanned head. Can’t make out any aroma on these ales. Good for this style, imo.
