reddish-brown color. Slightly fruity aroma. Light sweet taste with a short bitter end. Average carbonation. A little watery.
As a Nøgne Ø beer its less full of flavor than other beers from the same brewery, but I like it exactly because of this and move love of brown ales in general DanielBrown (4563) - Birmingham (via Leicester), West Midlands, ENGLAND - JUN 16, 2012
Bottle from Stirchley Wines, Birmingham. Pours a dark chestnut Brun. Smell is gentle choc. Flavour us pretty subtle, pretty smooth, with correct mouth thickness. Slightly watery, but a pleasant aftertaste. A little like a Uk cask Porter. Nice, but lacks a little sharpness. Doesn’t taste the strength. BillHick420 (471) - NORWAY - JUN 9, 2012
Pours dark brown with a tanned head. Can’t make out any aroma on these ales. Good for this style, imo. Aaron68 (608) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 19, 2012

Aroma of malt. Some caramel and hop.A bit to short at the end. Idiosynkrasie (8195) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - MAY 15, 2012
500ml bottle. Cloudy redish dark amber colour with average frothy lacing tan head. Malty aroma, some milk chocolate, hay, an earthy and mossy note. Diversified taste, a sweet malty strain, dark berry tart, this milk chocolate and hay mixture again as continous "middle" strain. Dry, slightly herbal finish that may arouse from fruit parings.

This is a surprisingly average nogne-o beer. It is an enjoyable Belgian style ale but lacks the flavour you expect from their beers. Travlr (26406) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - MAY 1, 2012
