Rating #1853 - 2015.08.10 - Bottle from CBI. Clear golden pour. Aroma of toasty Maris otter, and a ton of lime leaf and tangerine aromatics. Palate is bold - 7.5% - medium-high alcohol - light rye spiciness - loads of bitterness. Lovely. SanfordBrewer (1610) - Sanford, Florida, USA - MAR 2, 2016
ugly muddy brown with nice dense beige head. particulates. resinous full body with moderately high carbonation. ngeaney (97) - SWEDEN - AUG 30, 2015
aroma: lots of toffee, candied citrus, canned mandarine, faint kaffir, leafy hops, and some cereal grains.
taste: dominated by bitter, skunky, woody, citronella, kaffir lime oils. Some toffee malt and hop bitterness come through. most of the hop character is melded into the bergamot/kaffir.
Kaffir is overdone, and the beer is not bright enough to support it. It would be a nice entry toward the end of an IPA sample flight, but is not an enjoyable half-liter by itself.
Quite murky and cloudy brown in appearance with a nice beige to orange head. Aroma is very fruity, hoppy, citrus, oranges, malty, floral and has some tangerine there. Flavour starts off being quite malty and a little bit sweet before the hops kick in where there is a hop explosion with tropical fruitiness and some toffee. Getting some nice caramel flavours and there is definitely some lime and tangerine there also with a quite strong bitter finish. PorterPounder (8316) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JUN 20, 2015
Tallahassee, Fl - Quick ’N Save - 1 Pt. .9 fl oz bottle. Murky, medium brown pour, soapy white head, decent lacing. Aroma of fruit salad, some molasses, a bit of pipe tobacco. Flavor is similarly accented, more sweet than bitter, molasses, cake mix sweetness, ripening vegetable notes. Mouthfeel is thick enough. Interesting to say the least, more like a dopplebock than an IPA. jtclockwork (17469) - , New Jersey, USA - FEB 24, 2015
Bottle. Pours reddish amber white head. Nose/taste of tangerine, lime, rye, caramel malt and citrus. Medium body.

Aroma is yeast, citrus, complex tropical fruit and a hint of hop resin. The flavor is citrus, fruit, grapefruit, light pine needles, hop resin, malts and a very tangy/bitter finish. beerfest5 (1207) - Cloneen, IRELAND - DEC 29, 2014
750mL bottle poured into a tulip, interesting deep orange to brown color with a bright white head. Big citrus(duh) aroma of freshly cut oranges or I guess tangerines based on the label, some tropical fruit and maybe some ginger in there. Taste is mostly tangerine citrus, some grapefruit and mandarin oranges, overcuts any genuine hop flavour. Overall an interesting idea that I would think would be more popular, but not something I would go back to. MichaelAwesome (6546) - Wanne-Eickel, GERMANY - DEC 24, 2014
Well, sometimes you just shouldn´t drink when you are sick lying in your bed. This one is definitely high quality but offered me just bitterness, some old plums and a bit of skunk towards the end. My fault to try that one the wrongest time you can imagine. McTapps (6976) - Reutlingen, GERMANY - DEC 23, 2014
Bottle from trade with Meilby - thank you, Kenni. The beer has got a hazy milky dark brown colour with an steady head and medium to smooth body. Aroma of hops, malt, barley, licorice and pine forrest - wonderful! Taste of intense hops, barley, pine, woods, soap, wine, spruce and citrus fruits. Finishes off like a big lemon tree full of sweet and ripe lemons, combined with some dry spruce character. Big beer! Fully enjoyed it. mrmartin (786) - New York, New York, USA - DEC 9, 2014
Reddish-Orange Pour with big orange-tan head.
Resiny Perfumed Citrus Nose.
Bitter Resiny front, medium body with an interesting texture and Oily slightly malty yet sourish soft finish. expected because of the bergamot and other added ingredients
Pleasant Beer interesting texture and palate. Interesting use of ingredients but similar to many of the Stone one-offs its a bit much!
