Jultsu (1295) - TAMPERE, FINLAND - AUG 18, 2017
@ISKTR 2017, batch 05203. Kiitos (taas) Vesa. Musta, hapoton, vaahdoton. Huipputuote.

UPDATED: AUG 19, 2017 500 ml bottle. #05203. Courtesy of Euphemos. At the ISKTR’17.
Dark brown color with no head to talk about. Roasted malt, licorice, molasses, alcohol, mild smoke and sweetness in the aroma. The flavor is boozy with licorice, sweetness, roasted malt and molasses.

arsol (1265) - NORWAY - JUL 21, 2017
Herlig kraftig avslutning. Ønsker meg en til...

TEJA (3349) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAR 6, 2017
Bottle shared by Björn thanks. No head and clear red black color. Rubber aroma and dark roasted malty aroma. Huge roasted malty taste. The roasted malt give a malt bitterness that together with hop bitterness blends and balance the big body.

Ferris (17117) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 9, 2016
Bottle - Vintage 2009 - Smoke and some woody notes with umami. Deep dark brown with no head. Tons of raw wood and some smoke. Slick body and very woody finish.

kraddel (9337) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - OCT 9, 2016
Pours black/ Brown . Bo real head. Smell is bit boozy. Taste is Sharp, intense, dark malts. Sharp boozy. In a sweet way. Honey. Very different. Very Nice ! Very balanced, and so drinkable to be 16 ℅

Bottle, dated November 5, 2007, so this beauty is 9 years old. Cheers, spacecoyote! This has held up remarkably well -- there’s only the tiniest hint of oxidization, and there’s still more than enough burnt chocolate / roasted malt bitterness to counter the sweetness of that huge malt bill. It’s boozy but not hot, and all of the different flavors meld together fantastically.

Beerhammaren (1836) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - SEP 12, 2016
Bottle from Alko. Rated at Hanniku’s cave 2.0. Pours pitch black with low head. Aroma is roasted malts, burned, alcohol, dark coffee, dark chocolate, tobacco, dark fruits. Flavor is mostly same. Still quite rude beer after 8 years of maturation. Still... Swell!
