Hazy golden color with white head. Very hops aroma with pine and grapefruits. Taste is nothing but hops, leaves thin. Fairly bitter. Overall quite ok but i guess its too old already (6 months old bottle), could be better more fresh now just gives nothing in taste. varanid99 (1257) - AUSTRALIA - JUL 21, 2017
Slightly hazy gold pour with a thin white head, decent amount of lacing. Light orange and grapefruit aromas with a bit of caramel. Taste is sweetish caramel, orange, pine, grassy, medium bitterness on the finish.

Nose revolving around flowers and pine.
Big big attack, heavy bubbles filling the mouth and a very strong / not pleasant greeny bitterness that stays for a long time.
This beer is pretty austere, except the nose. Really about boldness/bitterness and big bubbles, but totally missing flavors.
It’s surprisingly solid for a 4.5% beer though, if that’s what you’re after. Korcz (3389) - Warsaw, POLAND - MAY 7, 2017

I can sense a fine, albeit a little weak, aromas of orange peel and citrus from this Global Pale Ale. Global Pale Ale is brewed with a total of 13 different types of hops from around the world and this makes it unfortunately impossible to differentiate between. The taste is at first a fine light caramel malt which quickly goes over to hoppy taste where a true cascade of hops notes hits the taste buds. I tastes most orange peel and grapefruit, but also slightly sweet mandarin. IBU is 40 and it is equivalent to a moderate amount of alpha acid as well may cause the bitter taste in a pale ale depending on the type of hops. But with 13 different types of hops there is not really anything major theme in hops profile and it’s actually a little sorry for the beer has otherwise a very fine and delicate composition where a more uniform and cooperative hops had probably given it a greater flavor spectrum. But then i would not have been global anymore, so if Nøgne Ø’s intention has been to blend the world together in several hops, so they managed fine. I miss maybe just a hoppy identity and uniqueness becomes more visible. skortila (5905) - Baarn, NETHERLANDS - APR 12, 2017
Canned @ Kafe Derat. 33cl sample. The aroma has citrus, biscuit, oranges. Bit hazy, orange coloured beer with a medium head. The taste is light bitter and has citrus, light malts. Quite thin bodied even for its abv. mike_77 (6734) - Breda, NETHERLANDS - APR 1, 2017
Hazy blond colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have a real mix of hop notes. Initially some mandarin and grapefruit. It gets a bit more pney and skunky in the finish. AVLarsen (179) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - FEB 15, 2017
Bottle. Very nice and bitter. Could be a little richer and round but it is very fruity. adamnowek (2832) - Brussels, BELGIUM - JAN 15, 2017
From a can on a crowded train. Aroma is pineapple and mango. Taste leads with sweet tropical fruit with a moderately bitter finish. Drinkable but forgettable.
