0,33 l flaske. Batch 857.

Opaque dark brown beer, good tan head. Palate is smooth and airy, reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts bring a light tang. Mild spice. Light whiskey into dried fruits. Whisper of mint. Smooth finish. Pretty drinkable.

This one has been in the cellar fridge for a while now. Gave it a good clean out and all the boys were around at work so why not open it. Big fan of the original so excited to try this. Huge oak presence with an underlying vanilla-eque feel through the whole journey. Actually very pleasing and kind of gives it this rum n raisin feel with less dried fruits and more oak. Nice sweet lingering finish. Tasty drop

Bottle from VP Storo enjoyed at home
Pours dark, black in glass, thin beige head. Smell of whisky, oak, dark malts, also some roast and spices. Heavy sweet, more oak and whisky, some liquorice and roast; then after a while more of the original comes through with a nice spicy touch. Warming finish, boozy tail.

29/VII/16 - 33cl bottle from a trade @ home - BB: 23/VII/20, brewed: 23/VII/12 (2016-800) Thanks to CH-303 for the trade!

Clear deep brown beer, big aery irregular beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: wow, so deep and complex! There’s definitely the whisky, caramel, dried fruits, alcohol, milk chocolate, some vanilla, crème brulée. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: surprisingly sourish start, alcohol, whisky, sweet malts, caramel, some chocolate, soft roast. Aftertaste: bitter hops, dried fruits, coffee and mocha, caramel, ripe banana, fudge, dark chocolate, more hops, whisky touch. What a nice after dinner beer!

Bottle at the Aaahhh...ØL! Julebord 2015. Dark brown body with a small tanned head. Aroma of dark fruit, whiskey, roast and chocolate. Taste is bitter and astrigent, with a solid coffee and licorice note, mild vanilla hints, with a pleasant roasty chocolate finish.

Dark brown color. Light carbonation. Roasted and fruity aromas. Notes of plum, vanilla, raisins, and some wood. Very sweet, but balanced. A smooth beer. Starts with roasted mocha-like notes with some herbal bitterness. Some oak. A noticeable acidity. Smooth palate. Oily body. Not a perfect beer, but very good.
