Using the same label, but "God Påske" of 2007 is a new and different beer.

Our seasonal Easter ale is light and hoppy, yet it has enough body to match the chill up in those mountains where Norwegians generally gather during Easter break.

Recommended serving temperature 8°C/45°F. Ingredients: Maris Otter, wheat, Munich and caramel malt; Northern Brewer , Crystal and Centenneal hops; English ale yeast, and our local Grimstad water.

14°P, 30 IBU, 6.0 ABV.

Hazy orange coloured with a white head.
Fruity aroma of spices, caramel and hops.
Flavour of fruits, caramel and pine needles with notes of citrus.
Citric and hoppy finish.

larsga (7668) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 24, 2007
Head rises out of bottle on opening. Smallish offwhite head after
pour. Deep hazy red-brown body. Faint carbonation. Harmonic wooden
roasty aroma with notes of perfume and hops. Sweet wooden roasty taste
with yeasty, metallic perfume notes. Thin, dry metallic aftertaste.
Not sure if this bottle is entirely OK. Need to rerate. (0.5l bottle.
Batch #275.)

Rune (13644) - Tromsø, NORWAY - APR 22, 2007
500ml bottle shared at a rating session in Tromsø. Slightly hazy, dark golden body. Thin white head. Fresh floral nose. Rounded taste of orange along with caramel sweetness back by spicy and yeasty hints. Bitter tones at the end. Medium palate (18.04.2007).

Finn (8256) - Tromsø, NORWAY - APR 19, 2007
Bottle 0,5l. Batch 273. Golden brown coloured. Unclear. A small tanned lasting head. Aroma of flowers. Strong complex flavor with roasted malt and fruit shining through. A lasting dry bitter aftertaste. Refreshing.

tykjen (183) - Florø, NORWAY - APR 13, 2007
Interesting blend of malt, hops and honey in both taste and aroma. But it appears a bit unbalanced. Very flavorful, though.

spporras (259) - FINLAND - APR 13, 2007
(Bottle BB 26/02/10) Fruity (citrus), flowery and yeasty aroma. Dark red brown colour, hazy and small/average size, light brown, very slightly lasting head with fair lacing. Fruity, toffee and malty flavour. Softly carbonated and medium to full-bodied palate. Tasty brew! 28/03/07

Bottle at home - shared with Mette.
Unclear dark amber/orange - white head.
Fruity, caramel, berries, ryebread, malty, chokolate, licorice, light wheat, nice flowery hoppy. A spring beer for the masses !!

KnutAlbert (6796) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 10, 2007
I feel that this looks and tastes very similar to an English premium bitter. Little carbonation, no head. Lovely smell of hops, hoppy dry aroma, too. Full malty body, warming finish with the hops lingering for a long time. Another great beer from Nøgne ø!

tarjei (1954) - Bryne, NORWAY - APR 9, 2007
Copper color. Fruity, spicy, sweet caramel, yeast, hops - very balanced easter beer.

Miksu (5052) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - APR 7, 2007
0.5 l bottle. Dark amber color with beige head. Dark caramel dominates the aroma along with fruity and resiny hops. Sweetish and heavy caramel flavor with fruity marmelade, some citrus and resiny Goldings hops. Some dull yeasty notes. The caramel is certainly over the top in this beer. According to label this was brewed February 26 of 2007 with english yeast!
