We usually do not make compromises, but this is probably the exception. Norwegians are dead scared of dark beers. This is an attempt to show that there are gentle dark ales. As such Havre Stout is smooth and drinkable.

We think Havre Stout is good both with and in food. Try pairing it with a read meet dish, or give your vanilla icecream a small dash before serving. Recommended serving temperature 8°C/45°F.

Kapsel (323) - Warsaw, POLAND - OCT 10, 2016
Wygląd: czarne, nieprzejrzyste, piana beżowa, niezbyt obfita. Aromat: trochę kawy i czekolady, po ogrzaniu pojawiają się nuty rozpuszczalnika. Smak: kawa, czekolada i dość wyczuwalny popiół.

Villyzzz (379) - Espoo, FINLAND - OCT 8, 2016
Bottle at home. Pours black with small tan head. Aroma is roasty malts. Taste is a bit watery roasted malt and coffee. Not bad not that good.

rikstar (2603) - NETHERLANDS - SEP 29, 2016
Nais

Borup (14332) - Albertslund, DENMARK - AUG 21, 2016

ansalon (3792) - Stockholm, SWEDEN, SWEDEN - JUL 26, 2016
Pours black with a low off white head. Aromas of chocolate, roasted malt, roasted nuts, vanilla. Taste is roasted and chocolatey with a nicely balanced maltiness. Mouthfeel is light bodied with medium carbonation.

jampura (192) - FINLAND - MAY 7, 2016
Vaahtoaa ihan pirusti, kolme kertaa piti kaataa tuoppiin. Savua, kahvia ja kirpeyttä aistittavissa muuten vetisessä stoutissa.

Sondovia (55) - NORWAY - MAR 11, 2016
Not so tough as expected from the look. The taste, aroma and palate was lower than we would like it to be ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

tmrmwel (2058) - Bergen, NORWAY - MAR 8, 2016
Bottle, batch 1080-c. Pours black, with a big creamy mocha head. Aroma is dark roasted malts with coffee and cocoa, as well as some burned wood. Medium body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is roasted malts with bread, notes of cocoa and dark fruits, as well as some earthy, astringent berry notes.

ferryman72 (58) - NORWAY - JAN 18, 2016
Black with no head. Very thick, like syrup, when pouring. Plenty of sediments. Aroma of biscuits, berries and malt. Weak taste of chocolate, coffee, perhaps caramel. Very little complexity, short aftertaste. Not impressed.

Patjeadam (154) - NETHERLANDS - DEC 26, 2015
If you expect a smooth bold stout, you will not expect the soury aspect this one has. It is a very drinkable one, creamy, little bit sour red fruits, light roasted malts, nice malty aftertaste. A special light beautiful stout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy (iOs)
