COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
There is a long story to this malty ale. It was first brewed in the spring 2006 in Nřrrebro Bryghus in Copenhagen, Denmark, as a joint brew between Nřgne Ř and Nřrrebro. Nřrrebro calls their version “Double Knot Brown”. It is the perfect thing to drink with almost any cheese.

Recommended serving temperature 12°C/50°F. Ingredients: Maris Otter, wheat, brown, amber, Munich and caramel malt; Columbus, Chinook and E K Golding hops; English ale yeast, and our local Grimstad water.

Bottle. Very dark brown with a firm cream foam. Aromas are toffee with caramel and cookie dough. Honeycomb with spices and honey. Light grapefruit with chocolate and sea water. Flavours are toffee and biscuit sweet malts with gritty cocoa. Bittersweet lemon with medicinal notes. Herbal, earthy and spicy to finish. Good.

50 cl, bottle conditioned, batch #1522. Dark, ruby red-brown, medium tan head, medium to low carbonation. Aroma of dark fruits, a bit nutty and caramelly notes from the malts. Mouthfeel is silky smooth. Flavour is crammed with dark malts, dark fruits and a hoppy bite, long aftertaste, slight hints of alcohol.

Bottle thanks to sarky northner for xmas cheers Martin. Cloudy brown decent head. Nice malty spice nutty aroma taste same some fruit nice seeetness with a good hoppy finish. Nice mouthfeel. Very good.

Nagy, tartós, bézs hab, sötétbarna szín. Karamelles, malátás illat. Karamelles, pörkölt malátás, aszalt gyümölcsös ízvilág, kissé száraz lecsengéssel. Közepesen testes és kesernyés, közepesen szénsavas. Csodás, kifinomult sör, nagyon jó összhanggal és kiváló egyensúllyal.
