COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
There is a long story to this malty ale. It was first brewed in the spring 2006 in Nørrebro Bryghus in Copenhagen, Denmark, as a joint brew between Nøgne Ø and Nørrebro. Nørrebro calls their version “Double Knot Brown”. It is the perfect thing to drink with almost any cheese.

Recommended serving temperature 12°C/50°F. Ingredients: Maris Otter, wheat, brown, amber, Munich and caramel malt; Columbus, Chinook and E K Golding hops; English ale yeast, and our local Grimstad water.

19°P.

Bottle. Blackish brown beer with a strong head. The aroma is roasted with hints of chocolateness, the flavour is well roasted with strong malty tones and chocolate coming through. Overall a nice strong roasted and malty dark beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I purchased this bottle at Amstein the last year. I tried this beer yesterday at home with my brother, celebrating Christmas, because in few days we will fly to Lima. Best before 12/17, batch number 1320. We had a nice experience with this solid ale. Firstly, the color is brown/orange and troubled, deposit of yeast, white and brown foam, normal carbonation. The taste is with this beer warm, generous, you smell the alcool but it is well integrated, really malty, fruity with notes of plum and figs, apricots, hop, bready. These aromas stay a long time in the mouth, you enjoy this beer step by step, we drank it during the starters, olé una próxima sin duda.
