AR: orange peel, violet, everygreen
AP: dark reddish/brown 2 cm high beige, loads of bubbels. First loads of Orange flowers, the beer is fillling the whole mouth then ever green oil and then again orange. Medium high bitterness, warming feeling. Are there juniper berries included? the first glass and the last were lovely :-). Inbtween those it was tooo much! gyllenbock (9184) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUN 16, 2010
Dark brown with a small head. A lot of orange and coriander in both aroma and taste. Also some balsam vinegar, citrus, licorice and yeast. Quite sweet, not that much carbonation. Smooth and easy to drink despite 10% alcohol. Ok beer, however, a bit too much coriander for my taste. ekstedt (6790) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUN 15, 2010
Bottle (50 cl) from Systembolaget. Deep ruby red, medium beige head. Cloying pungent celery-like coriander aroma, nothing else comes through. Medium bodied and smooth. Well balanced sweetness. Still, the ridiculous amount of coraiander ruins everything. A school-book example of how not to imperialize your Wit. holdan (260) - USA - JUN 15, 2010
Dark cocacolaish with little head.Aroma sweet dark fruits and malt. Taste sweet malt, roasted, caramel, dark fruit, bitter chocolate. Body full, text creamy, carb soft, alcohol is warming, finish with long bitterness. As some one said a bit like good? cough medicine. Wow, is this oine criminally underrated. Bottle from Smitty’s. Pours deep brown w 1f ow head and chill hazy. Nose is huge pefumy florals, orange zest, coriander, hopcitrus. I could bury my nose in this beer for weeks. Tastes citric, orange zesty, with florals, hops, lime, black pepper, spice. Some mild heat, and an amazingly complex nose and tongue in this. This one would pair perfectly with steak fajitas and a Brazilian call girl.

An odd beer that doesn’t quite work. Dark brown with a creamy off white head. Bready licorice aroma and a strong licorice and fennel taste with an alcoholic finish with some roasted grain notes. tennisjoel (1460) - Rochester, Minnesota, USA - MAY 25, 2010
Dark brown pour. Candyish nose of plum, berry, caramel, and a bit of banana. Somewhat artificially sweet. Drinkable, but not a beer I’d revisit, especially at its price point. BeerandBlues2 (13355) - Escondido, California, USA - MAY 23, 2010
Bottle. Pours brown with a small, frothy, off-white head, somewhat lasting with fair lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (bread, cookie), average hops (perfume), average yeast (dough) with notes of plum and coriander. Full bodied, creamy texture, and average carbonation. Long duration, moderate sweetness, acidity, and bitterness. gunnfryd (14899) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAY 23, 2010

Sampled on 5/14/2010. This Belgian Strong Ale pours a dark brown color with some ruby highlights from a .5l bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head with decent lacing. The aroma is fruity, caramel, raisins and banana and spices. A medium bodied Belgian Strong Ale. The malts are dark fruits, raisins and banana. The hops are herbal. Nice carbonation. A touch sweet, but kind of expected for a dunkel styled wit. Touch of spices, orange peel, coriander and pepper. Nice smooth taste. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
