On tap. Pours an opaque dark brown with a small off-white head. Intensely fat hop aromas, oniony! Quite full-bodied, plenty of caramel, some overripe fruit and then again fat and intense hoppiness in the finish. Somewhat medicinal. The high ABV is pretty well hidden. 200910 Travlr (24913) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - SEP 29, 2011

Cloudy brown beer. Light tan head. Light palate. Rich malt giving this DIPA a distinctly barlywine like character. Underneath are sweet red berry fruits. Alongside the malt there is pine hops and fresh orange hops, the latter in the finish. Decent barleywine!!
