+gak+ I sure hope they didn’t mean this beer to taste like this as it seems to have turned a bit. It looks a little dark for a pilsner. Aroma was traditional and decent. But flavor is sweet sour & malty; everything a pilsner isn’t. Nasty finish too.

(Backlog) Bottle pour at home, took a little to find this one, thanks to Andrew for searching for this. Golden pour thin head, citrus aroma not overly hopy, little sweet in the taste. Easy drinking beer. Very solid I enjoyed this one want to try more from these guys.

Aroma of wet grass, bitterness from the hops, citrus like you get with lemon peel and some light spices. Very nice aroma that was quite stinky but in a good way, high alcohol level, powerful aroma. This pilsner is not you average and is super full-bodied, slightly sweet, pine resin sweetness comes to mind.

Hallstein (483) - Skogn, NORWAY - AUG 10, 2015
Aroma is prominently hoppy. Flavors of sweet breadcrust with a sharp bitterness coming through. Some apple-like flavors and aromas as well. a very average brew from nøgne ø.

500ml bottle. Clear golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grassy, strawy, hoppy aroma, herbal spicy hints of tarragon, a touch of glue, apricot liquor and grappa. Taste is slightly sweet pale malty, spicy, herbal and bitter hoppy overtones, hints of distilled fruit flavours, apple, pear, grappa, calvados.

From a 500ml bottle on 2/7/2015. Pours a clearish golden with a biggish bright white head. Hasa strong aroma of bread, dough and honey with distict floral notes. The flavour begins very sweet with citrus and stone fruit (orange and peach), honey, christmas cake and bread, followed by a spicy and relatively firm hop bitterness. The texture is syrupy and the carbonation average. This is really nice stuff and full of character. I’m quite puzzled by the modest overall rating for this. It’s a cracker.

Koelschtrinker (20395) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 28, 2015
Stark karbonisierter, hell alkoholischer Hopfenantrunk. Hell herb alkoholisch bleibend, der Hopfen geht in den Hintergrund. Minimal bitter, steigende Süße. Unrund. 12/10/7/6/9/7
