RB#1100: 50 cL bottle (batch 286). Pours black with a creamy chocolate brown head, very inviting look. Rather hops citrus and vaguely peach fruity aroma. Creamy mouthfeel. Clear chocolate flavoured with a decent hops fruity- and bitterness. A slight touch of coffee towards the finish. Bitter and roasted malt finish with a whiff of smoke. Very nice. A black beer with a nice brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with both herbal and flowery notes, but also a lingering acidity in the background. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of violet candy sugar used for cakes in the beginning, but then turning towards roasted malt and chocolate in the end. Nice. joergen (29625) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - OCT 30, 2005
