Tap @ Amsterdam pub. Semiclear light orange with pure white head. Sweet caramel with citrus, fruit, pine. Yeast, caramel, hat. Balanced yet quite sweet. I somehow expected more based on memories.

Hazy dark orange colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have a great balance of biscuity malts and subtle, moderately bitter hops. Fine carbonation.

Visual: (cellared for 3 years). Huge gusher! Unfiltered yeast working OT. Pours 80/20-head/beer ratio, super thick foam, thick sticky lacing, opaque pale orange-brown, super clustered micro activity.

Nose: slight woody-sourish funk, unfiltered apple juice’d malts - very interesting for an IPA. (lvl-6)-pungency

Attack: crisp-very creamy, fruity malt impression

Mid-palate: full bloated mouthfeel, background tangy, (lvl-5-sweetness), plummy caramel barley malt

Finish: trace airy wheat malt, light woody-funk exhale, sourish dry bitter hops, residual caramel barley malt

Summary: Definitely not your standard IPA. The woody funk goes pretty well with the alcoholic sweet fruity barley malt body. The quality is a cut above the local brews here.

Bottle (500 ml) @ Copenhagen Airport 20170214. Fruity, hoppy and caramely, sweet, medium body with an oily texture. The finish is bitter, hoppy and caramely.

UPDATED: FEB 25, 2017 Poured from a 0.5L bottle at home. Medium-high hazy. Orange-brown. Slight off-white head with good lacing. Slight hops bouquet of citrus - grapefruit. Strong wheat, or even cardboard. Common in many pale lagers I have tried, but seems somewhat misplaced here. Slight yeast (Belgium) aroma. Medium bitterness that lingers nicely. Perhaps a bad bottle, as my original rating was better (but was also one of my first): 6-4-9-5-16

DonGregorio (551) - POLAND - DEC 19, 2016
Bottle. Pours hazy orange with average, mostly lasting off-white head. Aroma of pine, resin with touch of citrus and caramel. Taste is medium+ sweet and medium bitter, pine, again some caramel, leading to long, resiny bitter finish. Medium+ body, average carbonation. OK, but high sweetness and caramel reduce its drinkability.
