Orange color. Average carbonation. Aromas of caramel, biscuit, munich malt, herbal and citrus hops. Quite bitter up front and stays bitter across the palate. Almost tastes like eating hop pellets. Hop character is mostly citrus and pine. This said, there is an unexpected balance to it. The hops cover a lot of the actually high sweetness of this beer. Has a bit higher body, but not at the expense of drinkability. I recommend following the suggested serving temperature of 11C, so the bitterness get moderated and the maltier tones come through. Good, but not great IPA. heisenberg1992 (2) - rovato, ITALY - DEC 6, 2016 does not count
Rotonda e raffinata in bocca.

I bought this bottle at Amstein. I drank it today at Bonfol. In my opinion, it is a really good IPA, all the qualities that you could expect. The taste is really bitter and this bitterness is present at all the phases, malt and there is a side sweet and citrus. The color is orange/copper and troubled, the carbonation is normal and there is a thin foam. It is a good one and well balanced!!!! goozen (4045) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - NOV 13, 2016

Blackberry backlog, Bottle, pours an amber orange color with thick and rather large head. Lacing was average. Smell is sweet malt, sharp hop, and other fruits. Flavor was malty for the most part but still had some light grapefruit from the hops. Nice English aspect to this Norwegian ipa hohops (980) - Kent, ENGLAND - NOV 4, 2016
Appearance is amber, clear, bubbles rising, a huge pillowy white head which leaves plenty of lacing. Aroma- fresh fruit, pineapple, mango hints, hops, undertones of honey malt. Taste- lots of hop bitterness, orange peel, pineapple juice, hop resin, pine, sticky sweet malt then emerges, full and sticky mouthfeel, long bitter finish, clingy and bittersweet. Excellent stuff. Light hazy orange with lots of white head. Aroma of fresh tangerines and lemon as well as some coriander I think. The taste is quite bitter, medium sweet and has a lemonlike sourness to it as well. Finish is bitter and sour. High carbonation. I love Nøgne Øs beer but this is actually not among the best so far. Don’t no if some infection was the course of the sourness. ston3s42 (234) - - OCT 31, 2016
Golden appearance with some head. Tastes of centennial hops, grassy fruits and caramel. Medium body, fine carbonation and a finish of hayy caramel. Okay IPA, but not my kind
