Coffee, caramel and figs in the aroma with some Christmas spices. The body was a touch on the thin side with a nutty flavour and had a high carbonation. Inbreak (6215) - Loddefjord, NORWAY - SEP 10, 2013

Nice creamy longlasting head, not dark enough for being a porter. Aroma is slightly sweet and spiced, caramel malts, butterscotch, nuts, hops, chocolate, hints of coffee. Taste is slightly sweet, caramel malts, nuts, grass, butterscotch, chocolate, hints of coffee. Medium bitterness. Nice enough.
Excellent choice for my 50th Porter. Interesting fruity nose, covering a wide range of berries and pears. The beer is rather clear, more of a strong Belgian ale kind of look, with a dark-mahogany body and a kelpish light brown head. Flavours of fruits, with dates, plums, cranberries, orange marmalade, caramels, malts, pine needles, and a bit of allspice that lingers for longer. Although complex, it seems to be perfectly brewed, wit all flavours roudly and smoothly blended together. Nice and resinous for a 4.5%, but still somehow thin and pleasurably easy to drink. ration (2245) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAR 16, 2013

Aroma has roasted notes, some syrup and hints of ripe fruits. Flavour has roasted notes, coffee, some ripe fruits, syrupy notes and spices. A bit watery palate but good still.
Bottle from 2010, shared december 2012. Clear brown body with red tint, big offwhite head. Aroma of dark chocolate, licorice, fruit. Taste of caramel, cocoa, vanilla and spicy hops. Short roasty finish. olio (10372) - Tampere, FINLAND - SEP 17, 2012

Pours murky brown color with a small head. Aroma of spices, roasted malts, some ashy chocolate and cocoa. Flavor of caramel, toasted malts, dark chocolate, cocoa and mild spice notes. Decent.
500mL bottle, 2010 batch. Pours clear medium red-brown with a small persistent tan head. Aromas of chocolate, raisins and dessert wine. A little malt, mild sweetness, mild bitterness, slight acidity, a little roast and fruit. Light-medium body, average carbonation, fairly creamy with a lingering bitter and slightly fruity finish. visionthing (5408) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAR 19, 2012
Bottle (#543). Pours brown with a small light brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, chocolate, coffee with hints of smoke. Surprisingly bitter, I expected a pretty sweet beer, especially after about one and a half year on bottle. A bit thin, but quite nice. Fairly dry and bitter finish. Wouldn’t mind more of this, but I guess it is too late now. Arve_Christian (5182) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAR 17, 2012
