@ Månen 17-5-17: Blev tyvärr inte så imponerad av denna. Känns lite ospännande med ok toner av kola och fat. Ok att prova men inget mer.

happy to say I helped make this beer happen. Great aroma, dates, plums, figs, raisins, coffee, chocolate and vanilla. The flavour was very similar to the aroma. The drink-ability of this beer is amazing, coming in at 10% and being 2.5% more than the original version, it was impossible to tell that it was so high.

02.04.2015, tap @ Man in the Moon:
Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is mild and slightly sweet, kind of Madeira like, oak, caramel, dark malts, burnt sugar, raisins, cocoa, vanilla, bark. Taste is slightly dry, fresh oak, vanilla, burnt sugar, bark, grass, dark malts, cocoa, raisins, caramel. Medium bitterness, slightly dry oaky mouthfeel. Nice one.

Köpt på Man in the moon, Stockholm. Ett redan gott grundöl får större smakupplevelse med tydliga vaniljtoner från ekfatslagringen. Mycket gott öl.

Köpt på Man in the moln i Stockholm. Mycket smak av vanilj. Tydlig fatlagrad karaktär jämfört med originalet.

Reddish brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is oak, caramel, ripe sweet banana. Taste is medium sweet caramel with woody notes. Finish is wet wood (a bit too much) , sweet malty and banana. Medium bodied, soft carbonation.

(Keg at Man in the Moon, 20150210) The beer poured dark brown. Its head was medium sized, dense, lightly brown and it lasted long. Aroma had fruitiness, chocolate, wood and caramel. Palate was full bodied and dryish with medium carbonation. Flavours were vanilla, wood, chocolate, malts, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, woody and bitter. A tasty barrel aged brown ale. Not too extreme. Hides alcohol well.

On tap at Nøgne Ø Krankupp @ Cafe Sara, september 18th 2014. Dark brown body with a small beige head. Aroma of vanilla, raisins, oak, dark malts and darker fruits. Taste is light roasty with chocolate, bourbon notes, plum. Rich body, with a good sweet and roasty bitter finish. Nice lasting borbon and toast aftertaste. Very nice!
