This one is miles ahead of the standard Norwegian macro pilsner, not really surprising as it comes from Nøgne Ø. Is fruity, refreshing and reveals quite a bit of hops both in aroma and taste. (tap) SudsMcDuff (8429) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - OCT 12, 2011

Draught, 5% abv., over 100ml at Bryggetorget, Oslo Ølfestival 2011. Decent white bubbly head, spotty head-lacing. Hazy golden body. Smell of wheat-like fruits. Noble hops in flavour displaying faint notes of oranges and lemon supported by pale malts. Short bitter end, but feels well bodied on the swallow. Refreshing. Far above the average Norwegian pilsener. Coming up: a few more from Nøgne Ø (Ølmesseteltet, Oslo 08.10.2011). tkrjukoff (4335) - SWEDEN - SEP 1, 2011

Draught @ Cruise Roma - Barcelona, Un Mare di Birra, Grimaldi Lines.
Unclear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, toasted, light to moderate hoppy, citrus - grass. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
On tap @ Øl & Matfestivalen 2011, Oslo. Pours a quite cloudy orange body with a small really dense white lager head. Light fruity aroma with some apricot, sweet malts and some nice discreet hops. Medium-bodied, average carbonation and has a mild watery to oily mouthfeeling. Nice and light malty flavors, somewhat grainy and a bit dry but really nice and clean flavors. Please replace the Norwegian supermarked-plisners with this! daje (4436) - NORWAY - JUN 5, 2011
