Blackish slightly viscous pour with a finely beaded moussy brown head. Bitter dark chocolate coffee and dried dates and figs in the note along with some bready notes Taste: A very warm inviting rich blend of dark cocoa, espresso like notes dark dried fruits and some nutty flavors enveloped in a lightly silky package stopped from being too viscous with just a touch of chalkiness Overall: What a wonderful beer - I just love the silky smooth textural component enveloping a lot of classic porter like notes. The best part being the dark malt flavors compliment and not dominate each other

UPDATED: DEC 12, 2017 0.33 l bottle brought by Višnja 666 and Pilot Goran from Oslo. Thanks! Dark brown, small off-white head. Roasty, ash. wood, light coffee. Beautiful roasty and light fruity, great balance. Smooth, medium body, moderate finish. Very nice.

Sampled at Billies craftbeerfest 2017. Thnx for sharing, everyone ! Don't mind my visual info to much, as lighting was really terrible. Pours black, not much head. Smell is creamy, coffee, roasty. Semi-high intensity. Taste is sharp, bitter, roasted , coffee. Bit bitter. Not bad.

Bottle pour into tulip glass from Redstone Liquors. Appearance is virtually opaque black (dark brown with light source directly behind), light sparkle at the edge of the glass, ephemeral cap of light brown head and trace lacing. Aroma is strong roasted malt, toffee, dark fruit, vanilla. Taste is roasted malt, molasses, mild dark fruit, vanilla. Palate is light bodied with thin, silky smooth texture, soft carbonation and bittersweet, dry finish. Overall, strong flavor and aroma while maintaining a nice balance between sweet and bitter. Very good.

Good flavour and depth of flavour. Good sized amount in the bottle and the first sip has a burst of flavour. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours black with a huge foamy head. Lots of roasted malts and chocolate in the aroma. Flavour is very much the same, a total delight of a porter.

Warka 05.11.2013
