4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Blackish slightly viscous pour with a finely beaded moussy brown head.
Bitter dark chocolate coffee and dried dates and figs in the note along with some bready notes
Taste: A very warm inviting rich blend of dark cocoa, espresso like notes dark dried fruits and some nutty flavors enveloped in a lightly silky package stopped from being too viscous with just a touch of chalkiness
Overall: What a wonderful beer - I just love the silky smooth textural component enveloping a lot of classic porter like notes. The best part being the dark malt flavors compliment and not dominate each other

A- Chocolate, slightly weak.
A- Dark brown color, dark body, light brown head.
T- Cocoa, cola, roasty.
P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish.
O- Good and balanced. Not really any standout flavors. May seem dull to some because it’s so straightforward but it’s done so well.

Aroma is dark malts with a softer roasted note. Light coffee. Taste is dark and bitter, with a balanced hop profile and dried darker fruits. Light chocolate notes as well. This is a classic porter. Nothing fancy, nothing colorful - just a proper porter. Legit!
