Small white head. Slightly hazy paleish amber body. Earthy
mealy herbal aroma with notes of camphor candy and honey. Dry,
with a kind of background sweetness, earthy wooden taste with
fruity honey notes. Mid-bodied. Slightly sharpish and fizzy
mouthfeel. Dry earthy resiny aftertaste with floral fruity
notes. Nice, unusual, and highly drinkable. Perhaps mostly
interesting as showcase for champagne yeast. (0.5l bottle,
Håndverkerstuene, Oslo. Batch #834.) gunnfryd (15175) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - SEP 11, 2012
On tap at Patricks. Golden-orange colour with an off-white head. Aroma is alcohol, sugar, fruit, orange, peaches. Flavour is sweet, alcohol, citrus, hop, sugar, pine, malt, peaches, orange. Full bodied nice beer. Gr0ve (2176) - Oslo, NORWAY - SEP 6, 2012
500 ml bottle at Håndverkerstuene. Golden hazy colour. Medium-sized white head. Classic champagne yeast aroma with clean hops and a neutral malty background. Light bodied, but with some chewy malts. Warming alcohol and somewhat sharp disharmonic hops. A little unbalanced and not a particularly great beer. Could have used a lot more fruity characters to balance the monotonic and tiring champagne yeast. daje (4436) - NORWAY - SEP 2, 2012
Tap at Grünerlokka Mat- og Mikrobryggfestival 2012. Golden body, white staying head. Aroma is sweet, with yeast and fruit. Taste of caramel, yeast, candy sugar and citrus. Good body and long finish. A nice beer, though it doesn’t seem like a pils to me. espenra (1017) - Kurland, NORWAY - SEP 1, 2012
50cl bottle at Håndverkerstuene. Batch 2014-07-06. Brewed 2012-07-06. Batch 834. Golden colour with a medium big white head. Aroma is very reminiscent of a belgian wit. Notes of belgian yeast, bananas, orange, coriander and spices. Some faint hoppy notes. Citrus. Flavour is bitter, yet sweet. The belgian yeast is prominant here as well. Notes of citrus, spices, some floral notes. Some orange as well perhaps. I’d classify this a belgian wit rather than an imperial pilsner. I haven’t tried it on tap, but from what I can gather the bottled edition is much better.

Pours golden with a small off-white head. Aroma of sugar, yeast, yellow apples, some malt and spices. Flavor is sweet and fruity with some red apple peel and caramel. Medium body, soft carbonation.
On tap at Grunerløkka mat og mikrobryggerifestival,August 25, 2012.Golden color with a white head. Aroma is malt, yeast ,alcohol and hops. A bit sweet beer.A slightly bitter finish.A dangerous strong beer, but a good one. KnutAlbert (6771) - Oslo, NORWAY - AUG 27, 2012
On tap at the Grünerløkka fest.
Rich, fruity, aromatic and bitter. A bit too much crammed in, and on the sweet side, possibly due to the alcohol. If you name it a pils, I expect a cleaner, crisper profile. visionthing (5496) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - AUG 26, 2012
On tap at Grünerløkka mat- og mikrobryggfestival. Slightly hazy golden with a white head. Malty aroma with some fruit, alcohol, hops and yeast. Quite sweet with a lightly yeasty and just slightly bitter finish. Quite strange, but certainly drinkable. (2012-08-24) tfredvik (2027) - Oslo, NORWAY - AUG 26, 2012
Cloudy yellow to orange body with a nice white head that leaves lots of lacing on the glass. Lovely sweet aroma dominated by yeast and citric notes. Medium plus sweet with some bitterness in the finish. The flavours follow the aroma. Full bodied with a delicious syrupy texture and soft carbonation. A lovely beer, very far from any other pilsener I’ve had. But it might get a bit too sugary sweet and too little bitter after a while?
