COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We brewed this ale with the famous sake yeast No 7 from Masumi Sake in Nagano, Japan. On advise from Masumi’s master brewers, we fermented this ale very slowly at low temperatures to bring out No 7’s fabulously fruity character. This product is unfiltered and unpasteurized. Please enjoy chilled! Special thanks to Masumi!

Bottle beautifully wrapped in red tissue paper and packed in a tin red box. Surprising cloudy brown colour. Smell of litchee, of smoke, of miso. Dry and light as sake in the beginning. Marked sweetness, umami taste. Just love it.

Kolor: jasno brązowy z lekkim zmętnieniem.
Piana: jasno beżowa, drobnopęcherzykowa, niezbyt obfita i szybko znikająca co przy tej zawartości alkoholu jest jak najbardziej normalne.
Zapach: głownie likier chmielowy, w tle nuty owocowe, melanoidynowe. Alkohol wyczuwalny, ale w szlachetnej formie bez żadnych nut spirytusowych.
Smak: solidna baza słodowa z aromatami karmelu, melanoidyn. Słodycz skontrowana goryczką. Na finiszu wychodzi chmielowa gorycz i nutami alkoholu.
Wysycenie: średnie jak najbardziej pasujące.

Very light aroma with hazy reddish taste. Smells fruity and tastes very chocolaty. Tastea much stronge at the first sip

sublte sweetish nose of plumwine and tealike herbs with a hint of oak; tastes drier than to be expected by the aromas, shiitake mushrooms and earthy/woody and even salty notes balancing white grapes, caramel, plums and some forest strawberries. Complex. Landscapelike.

Pours somewhat cloudy, red brown with very little head. Aroma is sweet malt, toast, toffee, perfume, caramel, fruits, a bit of alcohol and raisins. Flavour is sweet, toffee, caramel, alcohol, toast, fruity cake, floral and berries. Wow, this is one complex beer.

Bottle from trade with Palme. This beer is great! Pours amber-brown color, beige head. Aroma is extremely promissing, caramel, toffee, herbs, grapes, sake, very fruity. Taste is sweet, medium bitter, caramel, grapes, toffee, alcohol. Very nice fruity, bitter finish.

Another special beer for the New Year. When pouring this beer I could see it was going to "angry". Big and dirty aroma yet hiding a certain subtleness. Once imbibing this is nothing short of fucking gobsmacking. 13.5%? Nasty over the top and then some, but this beer somehow takes that 13.5% and transforms it into a 5% beer with character. One of the best beers I have ever had. Damn you.

What a gem of a beer, and I have two :-), so one for ’ron. Gobsmacking aroma, blown away by the depth and intensity of the taste. Did pick the alcohol tang at the end and as it warmed up a bit. This is very very nice. Just is. How they do I don’t know, glad they did.
