Brown beer with a minimal head and floating flakes of yeast.Intense caramel and dried and ripe fruits on the nose.Medium sweet, earth, mould, ash, dried fruits, light sourness. Medium body, light carbonation. Weird at first but this is actually a really good and interesting beer. ston3s42 (234) - - FEB 15, 2015

Tiny shortlasting head, nice golden amber color. Aroma is slightly rich and sweet - nice oxidized, raisins, dark sugar, minerals, caramel malts, nuts, candied sugar, hay, alcohol, burnt caramel. Taste is slightly sweet and burnt, dark sugar, raisins, burnt caramel, peat, ashes, leather, alcohol, minerals, grass, yeast, weeds. Medium bitterness, slightly dry boozy mouthfeel. Nice, but I think it used to be better before, and very different from what it has aged to become...
Bottle 25 cl, BBE 12/20/2016. Pours amber in color with thin bubbly off-white head. Sweet honey, cantaloupe and that sticky hoppyness in aroma. Perhaps that cantaloupe kind of sweetness comes from the sake yeast they used. Sweet in taste at first, some honey and ripe garden fruityness but also a bit of malts is there. Slightly bitter in aftertaste as well, but the sweeter side gains victory here. No sign of the alcohol. Pretty good as a sweet dessert beer. yespr (44793) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - APR 4, 2013

25 cl bottle @ wPBF’13, bottle #12481. Batch #741: brewed 20.12.2011, BBE 20.12.2016
Vertical with 3. edition.
Aroma has caramel, malty notes and yeast. Also some ripe fruits. Flavour has alcohol, some American hops, raisins and ripe fruits. A bit too sweet but nice anyway. The alcohol cuts the sweetness. Less aggressive and more boozy than 3. edition.
