A low brow beer with some very herbal hops flavors. The palate is quite average. The rest brings an easy fruity ease. nick76 (4403) - Tampa, Florida, USA - JAN 9, 2008
The aroma is funky with basement yeast, malt, hops, and fruit. The appearance is hazy gold with a small white head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is thin but smooth. Overall it’s alright and better than many of the style. Ratman197 (15628) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - JAN 7, 2008
500 ml bottle poured a clear yellow with a minimal lingering white head. Aromas of straw, wheat, yeast, citrus and a faint hint of spice. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of straw, bread, light citrus and a hint of spice with a crisp dry finish. mabel (10004) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 6, 2008
A very drinkable beer but alas nothing special.
[876-20071201] 1pt0.9floz (Xmas Party 2007, beerhugger & guests). Burnt oaky malt grassy aroma has strange hops. Cloudy, pale orange body with a medium-lasting creamy white head. Bitter citrus flavour has some woody lemon lime pip notes. Medium body. Interesting. Enjoyit (3809) - Vadum, DENMARK - JAN 4, 2008
Golden of color with a nice white head. An aroma of malt, hops, spice and fruits. A flavor of malt, bitter notes of hops and spice. Pretty mild of a saison.

Bottle at home.
Hazy light orange with a white ehad, mostly lasting. Aroma moderate malty (caramel) and hoppy (grass). Flavor moderate sweet and bitter. Light/medium body. bhensonb (15976) - Woodland, California, USA - JAN 3, 2008
Aromas are light, but complex. Biscuit and citrus. Color is hazy, golden, orange. Head is white but flat. Body is medium, and the carbonation is moderate, but spiky. The flavor starts astringently dry, with citrus, light stone fruits, and something woody. It’s the saison of saisons, if Norway can qualify. It is really to style, and it is really quite tasty. JB175 (1665) - Bucks County, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 1, 2008
Nice hazy gold look with a relatively small head. Aroma is a bit grainy, dominated by sharp citrus and spice. Taste was a bit tart and very citrusy. Lots of graininess and a bit of yeast taste. No real funk or typical saison thing going on here, more like a Hefeweizen thats a bit off. Not all that impressive for an $8 beer. JohnnyJ (5571) - San Diego, California, USA - JAN 1, 2008
Pours a hazy straw yellow with creamy white head. Flavors of grain, bread, light fruit, citrus, and overall was very sweet. Not as much funk and lemon zest in the saison as I expected. Its alright, just not that good compared to other saisons.. to sweet. mds (2256) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 31, 2007
Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow body with a white wispy head. Aroma of light fruits - apples and pineapples, mostly along with some faint yeast cheesiness and bread. Refreshing palate with adequate carbonation and crisp cereal/biscuity flavours and some lemony citrus spiciness to follow.
Tasted in December 2007.
