Big creamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly concentrated grassy, leafs, pine needles, hops, caramel malts, grass, rubber, tea, hop pellets. Taste is slightly fruity and concentrated grassy, hops, old leafs, pine needles, soap, soil, bark, hop pellets, caramel malts, lawn. Longlasting bitterness, dry grassy mouthfeel. Very nice, specially for being 15 months old.
50ml bottle at Château Neuf. Pours amber with a thick off-white head. Very fruity aroma with citric and tropical tones. Fruity and bitter flavour with hints of sweet malt and caramel and pine. Bitter finish with the pine getting more noticeable. A fine beer for a fine organisation celebrating 200 years of existence. Meilby (11790) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUL 4, 2013

500 ml bottle. Slightly hazy orange body with a big off-white head. Lovely aroma of citric fruit, in particular peaches, some grapefruit and a hint of caramel. Flavour is dominated by fruity bitterness but there is also room for some crisp malty notes and hints of pine. Medium body and a long lasting aftertaste that’s mainly bitter. A nice IPA with focus on fruity and bitter hops, probably at its best as fresh as possible. Enjoyable. aleksander9 (1927) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAR 2, 2013
Bottle. It’s a clear, dark golden to amber beer topped by a dense, finger-thick off-white head leaving lacings. The aroma is very fruity, tropical fruits like peaches, mango and citrus peel, with a little maltyness in the back. A touch of caramel and bread. It’s nicely carbonated, medium to full-bodied and quite dry. The flavor has a good bitterness, maybe a bit much, but I like it. Fruity and piney flavor. Lasting bitterness in the finish. A refreshing and tasteful beer I’d like to see again. 130121
