Bottle. Orange copper hazy, frothy. Very strong grapefruit hoppyness with floral perfumy tones. Clean double malty, some sweetness in there as well. Body is full, quite soft, tasteful. Good bitters, some malty sweetness. Caramelized malt. Long finish with a bit of earthy herby hops, the double, over-cooked, malt. Clean and friendly, good quality as always. Reminds me of brewdogs stuff + a bunch of others with just the same flavor profile.

A - Pours a turbid glowing orange with active carbonation. Nice rocky head that creates a moundy foam ceiling. This head does not fade below 1/4 of an inch. Think circles of lacing. Very beautiful looking beer. S - Heavy bready yeast, soapy hops. T - Assertive hops hit first. Bitter grapefruit oil and floral flavors mostly. Earthy pine starts showing up along with a bready chalky yeast. The hops create a dry bitterness that sticks to the tongue long after the finish. Some tropical and stone fruit mixes with tea tannins in the background. Sweet crackery malt gets wicked away with a very dry and bitter finish. M - Medium to moderate carbonation, light side of medium body. Bitterness seems to be the focus and it does a great job of delivering it. The aroma, however, is very lackluster. It seems to be one dimensional but it’s nice to see a hop forward DIPA. I would buy this again. Serving type: bottle 04-23-2012

(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, 17 May 2013) Golden amber colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, malty nose with citrus, grapefruit, tropical fruit and a touch of alcohol. Malty, fruity taste with notes of lychee, citrus, apricots and a slightly metallic bitterness in a finish with a hint of alcohol shining through. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty with a certain bite. Nice one.

Copper, clear, beige head. Aroma of nutty, toasty malt with a little toffee, a woody earthy character, spicy hops. Flavor is similar, with a malty balance, a woody, spicy hop character (sortof Northern Brewer-like) and a light citrus note. Maltier than an American style IPA, with. different hop character. Interesting beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from HWC. Pours a mostly cloudy deep copper color with a medium thick white head. A rich nose of caramel and fruity hops, some grapefruit. A rich fruity hop flavor, light yeast, something almost peppery, some candied fruit. Odd in some ways, very different than American IIPAs, more mellow and the hops don’t really shine in some ways. Still, drinkable and pretty nice.
