Looks..murky orange tan, sml head. Smells..not huge for an iipa... piney, stonefruit, some apricot maybe and thick rich caramel. Tastes..huge and heavy stonefruits, boozy, chewy caramel, resinous bitterness.. Little carbonation making it seem heavier the the 8.5% abv.

Hop herbal malt aroma. Murky deep Amber colour poor head and lacing. Malt herbal medicinal flavour. Smith lingering palate.

A 500ml bottle from batch #1328 with a best before date of 15th December 2016 and poured into a Spiegelau IPA glass. It poured a clear dark amber orange colour with a one finger off white head that leaves nice lacing. Aromas of heavy citrus orange and grapefruit with a hint of floralness and caramel. Tastes sweet-ish pineapple and grapefruit hop bitterness with some light caramel malt. The grapefruit bitterness sticks around for a while. Medium bodied with light to medium carbonation. Overall, a pretty decent Double IPA with good lasting bitterness. It’s still well within its best before date, but I have to wonder if a fresher bottle would be even more impressive.

So I love IPA, especially the stronger ones with loads of dimensions. This one was reassurring all the way. Really well balanced aromas and flavors and all in all delicious all the way.

Wazig goudblond bier met wit schuim. Geur: moutzoetig, zweterig, hond, hooi, kaas. Redelijke koolzuurprikkel. Vooral spijtig wat de geur betreft.

Golden yellow colour. Medium white head. Sweetness, apricots, pineapple in the aroma. Pineapple at first. Crisp mouthfeel, lots of orangecore in the middle. Citrussy finish. Pineapple and some bitterness in the aftertaste. Bit sweet, rather medium bodied, quite well balanced DIPA. But something bothers me here. Probably too much pineapple. Otherwise descent brew.

0,5l bottle shared with wiosna @ One Pint Pub. Pours hazy golden with a medium head. Aroma is creamy malts and fruits. Flavor is creamy malts with some fruity notes, some alcohol and plenty of hops. Great.
