On tap. Pours a hazy amber with an off-white head leaving laces. Fresh and flowery hops in the nose. Medium body, very fruity and flowery with an extremely hoppy and dry finish. Bitter indeed. The driness makes this beer highly drinkable. 200910 Beerhunter111 (23281) - Beerland, GERMANY - JAN 22, 2014
500ml Flasche. Trüb, Bernstein, schöner stabiler Schaum. Geruch sehr hopfig fruchitg nach exotischen Früchten. Geschmack zuerst sehr malzig, leicht süß, dann angenehm fruchtig, Citrus, Grapefuit, Mango. Sehr gut! Rasmus40 (22173) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - JUN 12, 2011

Deutlich fruchtiger Hopfenantrunk, im dem vor allem Mango- und Limettennoten vorhanden sind. Grasig süß, weiterhin sehr hopfig. Herb bitter, klebrig, nicht ganz ausgewogen. 9/12/7/10/11/11 fiulijn (21516) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 8, 2011

Cloudy amber color; small creamy head. Very nice aroma, mellow, with sweet caramel, candies, and fruity hops (apricot jam, pineapple). Strong body; sweet caramel flavor; the hopping is resiny first of all (you can feel the resins gently attacking the tongue right after, with a light piney impression), then fruity too. The final gets a bit drier, with candi-like sweetish toffee and strong bitterness. Interesting.
500mL bottle, split with Matts_Property, pours an opaque dirty orange with a big off-white head. Aroma of pungent grapefruit, citrus hops, caramel and a slight metallic note. Flavour is very bitter, with heaps of grapefruity hops above anything; a caramel malt backing is definitely there, but the grapefruit is so potent with bitterness - not terribly complex. Very pleasant, though the other Nøgne Ø double IPAs are superior, especially the brilliant #500. saxo (19583) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - FEB 13, 2011
Bottle from Liva. Huge head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are rich hops, flowers, caramel and grass. Nice bitter finish. rlgk (18843) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - AUG 6, 2012
Bottle, from a trade with Cunningham. Clear golden beer with a rich offwhite head. This is just the aroma I want from a DIPA. Fruity, hoppy and creamy. Citrus, grass, pineapple, mango, grapes, pear, pine, perfume notes, hay, lemongrass, whipped cream, vanilla notes. Hoppy grassy flavor, perfume, metal, citrus, grapefruit, pine, mango, citrus, pear notes, some pineapple, some warming alcohol. Long bitter fruity finish, pine, mango and apples, some hay and perfume. Wonderful beer, almost on the same level as Zombie Dust and other world class DIPA:s chrisv10 (18735) - DENMARK - MAR 29, 2011
Bottle. Clear amber with medium off-white head. Flavour is malt, sweet, hops, caramel, bitter, fruit, pine and citrus. TBone (18565) - Pori, FINLAND - APR 26, 2011
Pale amber color, small white head, lace. Medium-bodied. Light front, sweetish exotic fruityness. Late, long lingering bitterness. A bit unbalanced, but has recognizable Nogne O finger prints.
