Pale amber color, small white head, lace. Medium-bodied. Light front, sweetish exotic fruityness. Late, long lingering bitterness. A bit unbalanced, but has recognizable Nogne O finger prints.

Om tap at Patricks. It pours a hazy golden-orange body under a finger thick off-white head. There’s lots of citrus peel in the aroma. Resin and grapefruit in large amounts, and beefstocky malty sweetness as a backdrop. Some tropical fruits too. Full-bodied and chewy with a little warmth. Bitter citrusy and resiny flavor where the malts do a little more work than I would prefer. Bitter, citrus peel finish. A lovely but a bit out of balance maybe. Or maybe the problem is that there’s too much balance between the malts and the fruity flavors and the bitterness is reaching too high levels. Don’t really know, but hope to find out soon. I’ll definately have more of this. 100707

500ml bottle (Old Bank, Turku)
Poured by the barmaid with all the crud, so not necessarily as clean as it could be. Hazy orange, small persistent head. Slightly messy stodgy components to the aroma, but a plasant caramelly sweetness, and good sticky fruity hops. Comes alive in the mouth, a veritable smorgasbord of sticky fruity hops and juicy caramelly malts. Nice bitter tingle in the finish. Big fat and juicy, and feels like one you could return to pint after pint.

50cl bottle thanks to Dutchdrebus. Slightly hazy orange to copper color, small off-white head. Smell hops, resin, pine, spruce, lightly fruits. Taste hops, bitter, grapefruit, pine, spruce, resin. Medium carbo, medium body, lightly sticky texture. Lovely bitter and piney finish.

Bottle - Orange, mango and sweet grapefruit with a caramel malt backbone. Cloudy orange with a rich beige head. Caramel backbone with a big dose of resinous and bitter orange hops. Not bad, but a bit over resinous.

bhensonb (15751) - Woodland, California, USA - APR 25, 2011
Bomber shared by Marcus. Pours hazy amber with a creamy off-white head. Aroma of strong cat pee. Med+ body. Flavor is strong citrus rind, overwhelming the malt. Strong flavor, that mellows and generates a floral touch. Harshly lush. Extremely tasty.

Scopey (15687) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 12, 2010
