(500mL bottle from the LCBO, 5mo from bottling) Poured a deep brownish-orange with some fine particulate, small white head that faded quickly. Aroma citrus (grapefruit, orange rind), mango, wet vegetation, a little caramel malt; nice and juicy. Palate follows the nose with citrus, peach, dried apricot, brown sugar, finishes with a dry peppery hop bite and some lingering dried fruit. Balance of malt sweetness and bitterness to start, fairly bitter towards the end but not massively so. Mouthfeel is fairly full and sticky but carbonation just a bit on the high side of medium. Alcohol well-hidden, peeks through in the finish as it warms. Good DIPA, well-balanced, juicy and drinkable. Badass Twin Mustang on the label! Florya (2027) - Oslo, NORWAY - JAN 10, 2015
How: Bottle Appearance: hazy golden color, small white head. Aroma: orange, pine, caramel. Palate: medium to full body, low carbonation, dry finish. GlasgowTAD (2007) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - DEC 10, 2014
Pours amber with a frothy white head. Aroma is slight citrus. Taste is initially sweet, citrus which then follows on to heavy hop bitterness. Nice beer but could use more balance. Mark_Eck (1998) - - JUN 7, 2014

500 ml bottle, $7.99. Served in a snifter, the beer pours a murky burnt orange color with about an inch off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both OK. Aroma is mostly citrusy (tropical fruit, mango, grapefruit) hops, along with some pine hops and caramel malt. The taste is similar to the aroma, but the citrusy and pine hops flavors are pretty even with each other in their strength. Some caramel and bready malt is also noticable, and there’s a nice bitter hoppy finish. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it’s a bit coating and has moderate carbonation. Another solid overall brew from Nøgne Ø, I liked it.

Bomb if the evening. Nose maybe not so expressive, but pleasantly filled with fruity hoppiness.. Then tasting. .Perfectly balanced hops with nice touch of maltiness and caramel. Sweetish with quite long bitter finish jstraw (1967) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 22, 2012
Muddy orange-amber with creamy beige head / Dull nose of cooked citrus & pineapple, and caramel / Medium to full body, sweet and somewhat syrupy, with biting hops and good finish / Somewhat clumsy flavors of caramel, cooked citrus, and pine / Disappointing, but some concern this bottle is fresh. 50 cl bottle at home. Hazy amber color, lovely off-white head. Aroma has lots of fruity and citric hops. Lovely! Flavor has heavy bitterness, with a fine malty body. Not very balanced, but a real treat for hopheads like me!
