thirstyrabbit (1849) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - NOV 18, 2013
Bottle. Reddish orange IPA body with a medium head. Aroma has piney hops with fresh orange. Rich body with loads of grapefruit, spruce needles and orange. Nice grapefruity DIPA that ticks all the right boxes and is neither overly resinous nor too caramelly. Immensely drinkable, 8.5% is well hidden.

Bomb if the evening. Nose maybe not so expressive, but pleasantly filled with fruity hoppiness.. Then tasting. .Perfectly balanced hops with nice touch of maltiness and caramel. Sweetish with quite long bitter finish

rayaron (1839) - Kfar Saba, ISRAEL - SEP 19, 2015
Bottle sample at Vova’s Hoppy Beerthday tasting at Dancing Camel Florentin, Tel Aviv. Thanks Shmupi. Deep golden-orange with white head and some particles. Piney aroma, some citrus, skunky with notes of socks. The flavor has medium hoppy bitterness, piney with some citrus (orange), sweetish, old and unbalanced, dry. Medium-bodied.

RichardW (1813) - Carlisle, Cumbria, ENGLAND - MAR 9, 2012
500ml bottle, Coppers, Ncl. Earthy fresh hop aroma, with initial caramel taste. There’s peach, gooseberry and mango flavours, with some jamminess. Had a thick sediment that held together very well during the pour, resulting in a good looking beer, with just a trace of haze.A really great DIPA, that warms slowly on the way down.

GlasgowTAD (1778) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - DEC 10, 2014
Pours amber with a frothy white head. Aroma is slight citrus. Taste is initially sweet, citrus which then follows on to heavy hop bitterness. Nice beer but could use more balance.

Bottle; Pours a cloudy orange-amber in the glass with a tight-pored off white 2 finger cap....good retention, laces the glass well. Moderate carbonation, medium bodied. Aroma is pungent - floral citrusy lots of fruity esters wonderful nose to this. Flavor starts out almost sweet with big chewy caramelized malts in front then almost instant balance with hop bittering, mid palate there is some complexity with apricots, grapefruit and malts jut under the bittering hops....finish is long drying and increasingly bitter to s nice hoppy bite at the end. Helluva fine 2XIPA.
