Bottle. Dark brown color with a fizzy fair lacing off-white head. Aroma is pine needle, licorice, coriander, star anis (stjerneanis) ? Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. yespr (45426) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - DEC 14, 2007
50 cL bottle. Pours brown and slight reddish hazy. Head is dense light brown head. Soapy ginger aroma. Mild liqourice base to a ginger flavour on top. Ginger dominantly and with a mild cardemomme note. Ends the same way as the ginger remains dominant. To heavy on the ginger but otherwise not bad, but me and ginger in beer is a no-match. A red-brown beer with a disappearing head. The aroma is extremely spicy and sweet with cloves standing out. The flavor is also very sweet and totally dominated by cloves. There is a lot of Christmas in this one - maybe a bit too much for my liking. joergen (28108) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 3, 2005

Dark reddish brown colour, Small tan head. Very spicy aroma. Ginger, clove, cinnamon. Spicy bitter flavour. Ginger, clove and cinnamon. The aftertaste is a little bitter and hints of the spices. A little strange beer but very drinkable.

UPDATED: MAY 28, 2009 Bottled. Brown and red colour. Spicy notes of cinnamon and clove, along with other spices too. Very "glögg"-like aroma. Flavour of clove malt and a lot of spices. Christmas beer indeed. Very spicy aftertaste. omhper (25108) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - MAR 1, 2005
Bottled. Dark brown. Cinnamon aroma. Fairly dry with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Notes of oranges. Grassy finish with some licorice. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 12, 2007
(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a cloudy dark brown with a vague tint of orange and an off-white head that leaves quite some lacewórk. The aroma is spicy with ginger - and perhaps mint - sticking out. Body is medium with some roasted and perhaps even a little burned malts. Again plenty of spices, ginger and something reminding me of cola nut! Some bitterness from both hops and malts rounds this eccentric brew off. I have a hard time finding out if I really dig this, but one thing is for certain, it’s a beer that lives up to its name: "Weird Christmas". 080807 madmitch76 (24806) - , Essex, ENGLAND - MAY 22, 2011

Clear brown - red beer. Soft palate. Spicy beer! But not hot spice. Lots of ginger and smooth cinnamon. Lactose sweet malt buried underneath, but this beer is all about the spice and it’s delivered well.
